Old and ugly, but close to beach
Pros:

$50 a night is a decent price on Boracay for a king bed thats walking distance from the beach. There was also a complimentary breakfast that was somewhat decent.

Cons:

Almost nobody on the island knows where this is located, so very hard to find. Have to walk down muddy ugly alley to get to it and the surrounding neighborhood is ugly. The pictures are very misleading.

Good basic accommodation at reasonable cost.
Pros:

It was fairly quaint, if a little in need of refurbishment. The staff were excellent and very helpful.

Cons:

The breakfasts were a little limited, with not much availability of European food. Our room on the ground floor was a little starved of natural light.

Worst stay ever
Cons:

The wifi didn’t work in our rooms. The front desk staff were rude. The rooms were up many stairs. The hotel is down a long bumpy ugly muddy lane way. I hated staying here and left it for another hotel with no refund, the front desk staff didn’t even ask how was my stay or why am I leaving early to move to another hotel.

Pros:

Overall experience was comfortable.

When they clean/tidy the room, they leave personal items as they are.
