Filigans Hotel

Bad small, weak aircon, bed sheets with water mark, flying insects inside the room. I booked for 3 days but didn’t even stay for half day.

A good value for your money. You have everything that you will be needing - the basic and essential in a hotel. Perfect location in Puerto.

No breakfast but you can order ahead at the reception area. Not so friendly staffs though but manageable.

Our experience here is not really good. We booked 4 room. Super low water pressure, heater is not working, slightly dirty linens, telephone is also not working, we also experience electricity interruption due to bad weather but the emergency light on each rooms are all not working! My boyfriend's room has a lot of mosquitos and their aircon is super dusty, my mom's room's toilet has no flush.

The only good thing about this place is its price.

After our experience in Manila, this place was fantastic. It was affordable, clean and comfortable - but not quite like the pictures. The staff were very nice and let us hang out and look after our baggage well and truely after we had checked out.

However be careful, when I booked this the name I was given of the Hotel was Red Doorz, which there are many of and firstly ended up at the wrong hotel

Bad aircon, no hot water in shower, internett/wifi ? hahahaha not working at all, soooo slow.....its not more to say that stay away (and stay away from this city as well, problem get decent food here if you not into fried chicken all day....I)

Aircon doesn't work and after changing room, still no good. Limited amenities and not much available. Inside room air isn't ventilated and very bad, unhealthy. Lobby is fine. No hotel restaurant open. I left my earring at room and the one that cleaned room was suspiciously saying he didn't see.

Filigans is perfectly located....right in the middle of everything! This little city is very busy, staying here allows you to walk to many shops, food and drinks. The staff at Filigans are great! We enjoyed our room very much. The price was perfect too! We recommend Filigans to anyone. They are located just behind the Giligans resto, not a good restaurant nor drinks. but Filigans was great....just dont eat their food as it comes from Giligans.

I often stay in Filigans Hotel when I visit Puerto Princesa. First of all, I like the rooms because they are clean and the bathrooms as well. The location is excellent since many restaurants are a short walk, and if you are up to a 10 to 15 minute walk, you can walk to SM. There may be sometimes that I have noticed that the sheets have not been changed upon check in, so request to have it checked upon check in.

The hotel was in a great central location and was in walking distance to many of the city attractions. The rooms were also nice and quite. Staff was friendly.
My only criticism was that the floor looked a little dirty in the rooms but it might have just been old tile that gave it that grungy look. Overall pleased with our stay.

服務很棒，一大早下飛機過來，很快就讓我們可以提早進房間放行李。在鬧區中，晚上睡覺外面聲音滿吵的。還有好像有裝熱水器，但是開了一陣子的熱水都還是冷水，最後就直接洗冷水澡了。

各フロアにwifiルータかあるが部屋によってイマイチだったりもしました。
他はフロント、セキュリティ等良いと感じました。

Me and my husband stayed for 2 nights. We chose this hotel because it’s near the airport, SM, restaurants and bars. We really didn’t like service of the staff. The receptionist were on their phone whenever we come to pass going in and out our room. Beds were super dirty and AC was very noisy we cant sleep. TV has no good reception too. Nevertheless location is very good.

The hotel is at the heart of Puerto. Near the hiway and major establishments. Major turn off is the kitchen of a restaurant in front of the hotel which is along the pathway for guests. One could smell the kithen stench as one goes in and out of the hotel entrance. shower is a turn off too.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The location is very accessible. Trikes are just a few steps away so we were able to move around easily. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby and a mall is just minutes walk from this hotel.
The staff are all friendly and accommodating. Everything we requested is okey to them.
The only complaint I have is the water heater which is so hard to manage. It's either too hot or too cold.
Anyway, I hope they can do something about it. Will definitely comeback for our future travel to Puerto Princesa.

near airport, in the town centre

All what this city offers is walking distance from the hotel. Comedy bar and night club across the street.
Only what I disliked (trip advisor)this page that force us to write minimum 200 characters. Really!???

Great location. Aircon didn't work in most rooms. Had to change room twice. Tours booked through hotel were good.

Stayed here for 5 nights, room 304. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. However everything worked really well (which is more important than how everything looks), the staff were fantastic and the location of the hotel was pretty central to everything (close to airport as well). The hotel has a lift (quite compact - not sure if suitable for a wheelchair), electric security doors and the bed was very comfy. Our room, however, did not have any fridge nor security box. Maybe the hotel management will look into these two issues?

This is one of the great hotels that we have stayed. The place is very clean (which is the most important) and the staff are very accomodating. You can really feel the Filipino hospitality culture. They are very willing to give you help for your own comfort. I remember, we were waiting too long for the van to pick us up for the Underground River tour, and we haven’t heard anything from Klook (where we booked the tour) if we’re gonna push through or not due to the rough sea. The frontdesk has told us that their own UGR tour has been cancelled due to the condition, but to confirm with Klook, the Frontdesk has really called them to verify. Meaning, if they haven’t contacted them, we will wait there for who knows how long. And since we were also travelling to El Nido that day, they gave us big bottles of water for the long drive (awwe how thoughtful) And not to forget, they’re free shuttle from the airport is very convenient for us. I’ve only notified them when we were about to board the plane, and I was a bit hopeless that they’ll receive my message because it obviously says in their website to contact them days before our arrival to avail the free shuttle service. But voila! When we arrived at the Palawan airport, I’ve received a message that their personnel is already waiting for us. Morever, the location is great. They have their Giligans restaurant (one of my fave) just outside the hotel. Across the road are pharmacy, clubs, reastau and more. Indeed an excellent choice!

Poor breakfast. Good region. Not sure if this hotel is different than the others in Puerto Princessa.
