Pros:

Location is great especially for walking and browsing around Shinjuku. Room was ok. Nice staff.

Cons:

Small room, small and outdated bathroom. The location is great but if you want to use the subway, you'll need to walk a while (cca 10 min).

Pros:

Very good location in terms of transport, there’s multiple train lines and a bus stop close by that takes you pretty much anywhere. The staff was very helpful in keeping luggage so can collect later and you can pick up amenities as needed and heat food downstairs.

Cons:

First of all in terms of location, yes it is good in terms of transport but being close to Kabukicho and night life the noise is a bit much especially overnight and the walls are pretty thin so you can hear everything that happens just outside your room door and the window. Secondly, as soon as you walk into the room, there’s a strong odor of like smoke and urine so I had to deodorize the room a few times but it didn’t get rid of the smell, an air purifier would’ve been great. Thirdly, the bath tub still had hair leftover and I noticed there was mold on the bath curtain so it hasn’t been changed in awhile. Considering its like $200 AUD per night, I kind of expected better than this. I hope they can improve from now. But personally if you don’t want to risk it I would recommend going to Bali-An resort shinjuku instead which is literally like next door to this hotel and it is slightly more expensive but you can find good deals on their website for cheaper, I regret not staying there for longer :(
