Convenience
The long waits for the elevator
Staff were wonderful from the start to the very end.
When we arrived the lobby was and remained extremely busy as there isn't another area to congregate however it was no problem and part of the experience.
We arrived in the middle of the snow storm for my daughters 16th, i pre contacted to ask for recommendations of nearby places and as a result the room had been decorated for her which was a lovely welcome to NYC.
The house maid came every day and the beds and pillows were the comfiest... we slept extremely well despite the jet lag.
The rooms were comfortable and clean and perfect for two. We were on the 32 floor which had beautiful views and some amazing sunsets.
The location is fab to be close to times square, Bryant park and more and the subway is on the same street. Close to all the tik tok sensations!!!! Perfect for us!
Nothing
Propre, près des transports et le personnel est top
Fatima de la réception était juste top, merci à elle
Soucis de chauffage mais très réactif
Conseguí buen Valor
Un poco demorado para los ascensores. Pero bien..todo ok
Safety – There is a good additional lock in the room.
The staff at the reception desk were very welcoming and friendly and gave me delicious cookies every day during my 10-day stay.
Housekeeping provided clean towels and tea/coffee supplies every day except on my last day.
They gave me an upgrade and I had quite a wonderful view out of the window.
There is a coffee/tea machine in the room with disposable cardboard cups — which is really nice. I used it in the mornings/evenings. Also, there was an ice bucket and two glasses in the room.
Location is perfect - two streets away from Time Square.
The bed mattress is very comfortable.
The shower area felt freshly renovated.
The entrance door of the hotel is awful — the glass is smashed, and no one repaired it throughout my entire stay. It d
does not look like the entrance to a four-star hotel at all, or even to a decent hotel from the outside.|
The room was small, as is typical for New York hotels, but this one was really dilapidated — there were cracks in the sink, and the wallpaper was peeling off (I will attach photos)
My room was near an ice machine, so I could hear it every day and night, along with people coming to use it. I could also hear my neighbors very clearly opening/closing the door and talking.
There was no hook, hanger, or wardrobe space for my coat — I was expected to put it in the small wardrobe with my clean clothes. For me, this was quite puzzling, even shocking; I moved a chair near the door and kept my coat there the entire time.
I did not receive any cleaning service on my last day, and I had an argument with housekeeping when I called to request clean towels. I also had to empty the trash bin myself that day. I did not understand why they had to be so rude. I only received clean towels after calling the reception desk, and I had to wait one hour.
Rewelacyjna lokalizacja, pomocni cierpliwi pracownicy.
The location was great and the bed was comfortable. The room was quiet and clean. It was great value for money. We got cookies on arrival and they were delish!
We didn’t have much to do with the hotel other than a bed and a roof over our head, so I can’t comment on breakfast but I believe it was 24-27 dollars per person which was a bit expensive for us everyday.
The reception area is small, with a lot of people congregating in it at all times meaning it’s difficult to get to the reception area when you need them.
Like most reviews say, the elevators are VERY slow. There are 4 to serve I think 34 floors. So sometimes you are waiting quite sometime. There is air conditioning and heating in the rooms, both helpful but very loud!
