Good public areas, ok bedroom but appalling bathroom
Pros:

The public areas are airy pleasant and comfortable. They’re well kept and the friendly staff are always on hand.
The bedrooms are ok - not sure what room type we had but it was a “matrimonial” room according to reception (don’t think honeymoon!!). The room was ok, small but comfortable bed, aircon and heating, tea/coffee. Not much of a view as the hotel is on the muddy bit of the salt plain. Most of Uyuni is a mud plain, obviously the salt plain is different and amazing.
The food is all buffet - it was ok, we were a bit poorly so it would be wrong for me to judge the food.
The bathroom was like something from a 1950s Berlin state owned hotel bathroom (to conjure up a picture)… think broken tiles, missing grout, tiles falling off, wobbly toilet seats, awkward door openings etc. Overall really awful for such a hotel… maybe we got a “not yet refurbished” bathroom?
On a very plus side there’s an on site doctor which we had to use for a bout of sickness - we administered pills and oxygen which was all for free which was generous (main reason for giving it 4 not 3).
Anyway it seems this is as good as it gets around here so you’re stuck!

Great experience
Pros:

We love the location in the middle of the desert. We felt so peaceful. The room is very nice and big, well designed. Breakfast was very good. The hotel has another restaurant that we’ve been to twice for lunch and dinner, the food is delicious and the service was just perfect. The outdoor seating area especially during the sunset is spectacular. We loved the vibe. The staff of the hotel are very friendly. There is a free shuttle to the airport.

Cons:

The bathroom was not very comfortable. The shower leeks so the water goes out and we had to dry the floor after every shower. The toilet door doesn’t close it needs repair. There is not even one hanger in the bathroom for a single towel which was inconvenient.

Pros:

In this area, it is one of the best hotels. It is not a 5-star or a premium property — rather simple and provincial — but acceptable for this location. You are unlikely to find anything better nearby. Breakfast is average, with a lot of bread. A nice plus is the beautiful common outside area with a fireplace, perfect for spending the evening by the salt flats.

El lugar es excepcional, aunque durante mi estadía sucedieron algunos inconvenientes

Cons:

El primer día nos dieron una habitación que no era la que vimos en fotos al reservar, con una cama muy corta en la que fue incómodo dormir (somos personas de estatura media). Al segundo día nos cambiaron a una como la elegida y estuvo todo bien.
La última noche hubo una fiesta con música tipo disco a muy alto volumen hasta las 3 am, que no dejaba dormir. Llamé a recepción para quejarme y me dijeron que el dueño del hotel había organizado esa fiesta. Me parece desconsiderado de su parte, ya que muchos huéspedes se levantan al amanecer para ir de excursión al salar o para tomar vuelos. Además, el complejo Palacio de Sal cuenta con un restorán externo, donde quizás podían hacer la fiesta sin que la música llegara a las habitaciones.

Ne pas réserver par Booking à cause de la politique de taux de change de l’établissement el Palacio de Sal

Rien à redire sur le séjour et spa avec expérience bain de sel!

Cons:

Paiement en bolivianos au change de 10 au lieu de 6,7 taux officiel du jour, parce que réservation faite via booking! Tout simplement inacceptable de majorer autant! Très déçus de ce service et on vous déconseille de passer par Booking car ça nous a coûté 100 dollars de +. Vraiment inadmissible!!!!

Very interesting and nice hotel in Uyuni
Pros:

There extraordinary hotel in uyuni. This hotel is made from salt and very interesting design. Many rooms have twins bad that is an issue . Although we came as couple we were given a room with two single bed. Fire places outside are very nice and good for extremely cold temperature. Breakfast and dinner were very good many variety of selection.

Cons:

Taxis organized by the hotel are very overpriced and not comparable to regular prices offered by taxi drivers in this area itself. In addition, they do not charge per taxi but per person. Call a taxi service from Uyuni and you will pay a 4th of it.

Hotel incrível em todos os sentidos! Localização, limpeza, beleza, entretenimento, atendimento. Tanto o café da manhã como o restaurante são ótimos! Aproveitamos todas as atividades como piscina aquecida e sauna, cama elástica, atividade de pintura ao ar livre, passeio nos arredores e também uma vista linda para o por do sol! Recomendo
