Perfect place to stay in Jaffna.
Pros:

Great staff and amenities available at the property. Beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of Jaffna Town.

Cons:

We were initially sent to a room that hadn’t been cleaned up which could’ve been avoided if it was organised. however was resolved very quickly.

Nice but not quite as advertised.
Pros:

The pool was clean and the gym equipment worked.
The breakfast was plentiful although lacking in western options.
The apartment was confortable.

Cons:

The booked room was an apartment with kitchen. This included a cook top and microwave but the room didn't contain any cutlery, crockery, pots, pans or cooking utensils. Likewise the apartemnet was 2 bedrooms but there was only 2 glasses and 2 mugs.
The amenities included washing machine and dryer but these were not included, only a laundry service is offered.
Booked a 2 bedroom apartment but was shown to a one bedroom one.

The hotel defeats itself...
Pros:

The location was fantastic, the first impressions (foyer and driveway) were lovely, the food was very very good and we experienced excellent service (especially the Restaurant, Front Desk and Security).

Cons:

The maintenance was terrible... the room had dirty and torn blinds, dirty/burnt lamp shades, dirty tiles in the bathroom and an ironing board that belongs in a scrap heap. House Keeping had also taken away, or not left any, cutlery or crockery in the kitchenette... thereby rendering the microwave, cooktop and sink completely useless ... negating the advertised concept of a suite ("all-suite hotel"). On the second morning, we discovered that even the sole teaspoon the suite had to make coffee, had been removed by Housekeeping. Not the experience that you expect at a hotel that charged about USD 125 per night.

Superbe. A recommander sans hésitation.

Je connais très bien cet établissement pour y avoir déjà séjourné il y a deux ans. Chaque fois que je viens à Jaffna je viens dans cet hôtel. J'adore les chambres, de vraies petites maisons, grandes, spacieuses, propres, bien décorées avec tous le confort clim et salle de bain. Le personnel est exceptionnel toujours chaleureux et professionnel à tous les niveaux. La piscine est très agréable, le restaurant très bon. C'est un superbe établissement que je recommande les yeux fermés.

Cons:

Mettre à disposition de vrais ustensiles de cuisine pour pouvoir réellement cuisiner dans les logements.

Great staff and stay. Would visit again.
Pros:

Breakfast was great and the service of all the staff was excellent. For larger groups it is also good value for money, even if for just 2 people it is a bit expensive.

Pleasure to stay here
Pros:

Staff were so welcoming and helpful, especially Dilakshi, we loved our staff and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jaffna.

We also loved the restaurant, as we come from New Zealand and wanted to try the local food, this restaurant produced top quality food and the staff were very well trained. Congratulations to you all.

Cons:

Only thing we were disappointed by was the push bikes, we went to take them out for a ride but the gears did not work, they needed some maintenance. Last time we visited Jaffna, we rode around for about 4 hours, this was a very enjoyable experience, I am sure some of your hotel guests would enjoy this also, but bikes would need to be up to standard.

Memorable island trip to Yazhpanam
Pros:

It is hard to describe the experience as it is just not a regular stay at the hotel, but felt like visiting a family and leaving all the happy smiling souls back home. The hospitality and the sincere effort to make sure the slightest thing is taken care of is commendable. The front desk team with a big broad smile and how effortlessly the team (Dilakshi, Vithusha & Princey) were able to quickly plan even if it is a last minute request on cabs and checking if my stay is comfortable etc, the gardeners warmth smile while passing by, the F&B team - Oh my god! They prepared Jaffna crab curry along with a meal spread which is out of the world. The whole experience of dining and customizing to your taste and spice, carefully curating and recommending what to eat is phenomenal. Kudos to the entire crew of Thinnai.

You made the whole experience very special and lasting. It is not the place, but the people who always make the place and experience special and it is true in my case. Yazhpanam and the Thinnai experience is going to be my top favourite and will be your spokesperson for all who want to savor this place.

Thinnai for an enjoyable stay and warm service and exceptional food.

Great friendly staff who provided a warm welcome, and exceptional service, and would go the extra mile to help.
The catering and authentic Tamil cuisine and service at the restaurant were excellent.
Thinnai provides a taste of the warm friendly hospitality and tasty healthy cuisine of the Tamil people on the northeast of Sri Lanka.

Good location & food and closer to amenities. Pleasant staffs.
Pros:

Pleasant and helpful staffs and the place is good for relaxing.
Closer to the town centre and attractions. They celebrate special events & the guests are invited.
Travel desk and gym are available.
Restaurant serves variety of tasty meals to include international and local dishes.
Variety of accommodation options available with varying degree of comfort.

Cons:
