Overall and nice place to stay in Jaffna with excellent food and service.
Pros:

Service was very good and accommodating. At the reception Vithusha would always welcome us with her smile and eagerness to support to our needs.

The best hotel in Jaffna, especially if staying with family, i have stayed at jetwing, northgate..... Pool is nice, gym is small but has enough equipment

Excellent staff, excellent service, mostly good food. I will definitely recommend to others.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and courteous. Service was excellent. They even make a special meal for us for lunch which was not on the menu. Loved the service and staff attitude. Always friendly and ready to help.

Cons:

The traditional foods like Dosa and Hoppers were a big dissappointment. They were not made with authentic recipes. For milk hoppers they add a gooey stuff instead of coconut milk which was very bad. Being a Sri Lankan I was dissappointed that all the foreigners were getting this stuff as authentic Sri Lankan food.

Pros:

Thinnai is a very nice and relaxing hotel in Jaffna, not quite in the center but close enough to reach every sight in a short time. The staff was very kind and friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast is something for people with a palate for local food.

Great staff and well-appointed hotel with some attractive design features.
Pros:

The staff, the service especially at the bar and the restaurant and the pool.

The reception hall is magnificent.

Cons:

Sadly their card machine did not work on many occasions.

The cleanliness or should I say tired looking upholstery was an eye sore.
