Balam Bali Villa

Beautiful spot among the rice paddies, very quiet and peaceful, helpful staff, clean confidant facilities. Didn't use the pool but it looked beautiful.

We only stayed here for one night on our way from the international airport to Permuteran. Location was perfect - very quiet and peaceful - just what we needed after a long flight. We got a really good night's sleep helped by having a super comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious and because of the late check out time we were able to go for a short walk in the adjacent rice fields and then finished off with a swim in the pool.

Accommodation was stunning. Spacious bedroom , views of rice paddies and overlooking pool. Only 4 rooms surround the pool. Bed comfy

Friendly staff, and delightfully comfortable bed. Situated above working rice fields outside of the busy traffic areas. We could watch rice farming and daily life at the river.

The property is great, very nice pool area and terrace and the rooms are great. The host is extremely nice and helpful and really makes you feel at home, willing to help with anything needed to make the stay perfect. Wish we stayed here longer!

Loved the room design and vibe and an adored the quiet location in the rice fields. And the hostess was a delight. It’s a wonderful place to retreat from the crazy crowds of the coast. Wonderful !

We stayed here for 5 nights and we loved every moment. Rita (the owner) made us feel so comfortable and at home. As 2 teenagers traveling for the first time she offered to drive us for where ever we needed for example markets. We even were able to experience galungan with her where we were taken to a private temple to celebrate this holiday. She didn’t want us to do this alone so joined us, she couldn’t do enough for us. She would offer to cook for us and would always wait up for us when we would go out. Never felt so comfortable in a place so quickly that was so far away from home. As for the other staff member he was super helpful and friendly and made the space clean and relaxing. As for the facilities they let us use their kitchen to cook when we needed, although the location was quite far out it was super peaceful and easy to get anywhere as it was less than a 30 min drive to local attractions. They were always so interested in our days would definitely go back again. We really appreciate all the help and kindness

staff very nice, soroundings very beautiful and far from turists traps. there are mosquitos at night but you are sorrounded by nature and the beds have mosquito nets

My 2 teenage children & myself enjoyed our stay at Balam Balli villa. Spectacular views of the paddy fields to sit back and relax by the pool or have breakfast. Beds were a dream to sleep on. Rita, the lovely host ensured we were comfortable - she was very helpful, giving us good advice on planning our trips around Bali. She arranged a driver called Wayang to take us around & he was very good.

Good breakfast with a mix of local & western food, however I would advise to have it at 7am when it is served hot.

Location was good to get to the north or east of Bali. Getting into or out of Ubud by car took time due to heavy traffic, probably easier on a scooter.

Clean quiet stay. With lots of options to explore. Rita and staff were friendly and helpful. Will be returning

The hospitality was amazing and it was just like in the photo and the villa's two dogs are so sweet and the breakfast so nice and the beds! were so comfy.
