Gosfield Lake Resort

The room was very clean, very comfortable, with quality fittings. Comfortable bed, quality bedlinen, soft towels, helpful host - highly recommended.

We didn’t receive any confirmation of booking so that being we rebooked a 2 hotel

We were staying when Britain had come to a standstill due to the snow. But even with this they went out of their way to make it work for us, had great communication to keep us informed and made us feel very welcome. Thank you. A lovely place with fantastic views, warm, comfy and everything you need.

The lodge has everything you would need for a short stay in a great location.

Lovely room with kitchen, tv, sofa, table and chair to eat at. Beautiful views over the lake and amazing place to watch the sun set.

Well equipped lodge, very clean and comfortable. Lovely setting, nice and relaxing.

For someone who lives near a motorway the quietness was great. To wake up in the morning to the sounds of ducks on the lake was exceptional.
Carl went out of his way to help us eat the first evening as this was a Sunday and everywhere was busy.

Really nice place to to stay, quiet and comfortable. Great customer service, we needed to check in earlier than the check in time stated so we emailed beforehand and the owners accommodated.

Very clean, lovely Peaceful setting

This was ideal to stay as we were attending a wedding at Gosfield Hall.

The room was lovely and clean but there was no heating, so it was freezing. The info sheet said to call an internal number for assistance but there was no phone in the room.

The place was immaculate. Really nice big bed. Adjoining room which is good if you’re with friends next door.

It was a short visit, the reception was lovely and warm. Everything was fine, I perhaps didn’t know how to do it or turn the right switch, but the room was cold in the morning

We attended a wedding close by and used the Lake Resort as a stopover. The room was large and very comfortable, quiet, clean and fully equipped.

The hotel staff didn’t come to see us during our stay and key was left in an envelope. The worst bed and mattress EVER! It was sooo soft I couldn’t sleep.

Location was nice. So over priced for what we paid. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately we arrived late & left early, so really didn’t get to appreciate the area.
Lovely deep jacuzzi bath, handy little kitchenette.

Can’t fault it, only that we didn’t get enough time there.

Spacious and with all the amenities I needed. The only drawback as I needed to work was that wifi access was limited to one device at a time.
