Location is great, close to everything and right next door to Gin tasting and Woodfired Pizzas. Restaurant on site has lovely ambience and makes great cocktails.
The room has a wonderful relaxing spa and warm fireplace.
It was disappointing having to wait for our room to be ready even after advising arrival time as requested online. When we did arrive at 2.45pm we were told we would just have to wait a little as we had 'the slow cleaner but shouldn't be too long'. Rooms online all show the bathrooms being the same however we were on the first floor which accomodates disabled persons. The bathrooms are therefore set up this way. Whilst I'm all for inclusivity it certainly changed the look of our well overdue romantic weekend away. If I had known that was what we were getting upon booking I would have booked elsewhere. When you showered the water went everywhere, all over the floor around the toilet region also. If there was a mop it would have been handy when needing to use the toilet for any length of time after the shower was used.
The view

Very cosy for a one night stay. A good location with a short walk to the Main Street.
Our room was right near the entrance so if the shutters were open, people could see into the room. This meant we missed the view.

The spa on the balcony was lovely! The check in process was very simple.
There was a very strong smell in the apartment, which was a mixture of musty/earthy/mouldy. The lighting of the apartment was also very dark. The phone reception in the area is really bad, but the wifi was even worse - had to use phone data during the duration of our stay. As a result of the bad wifi, the TV was unable to be used as a smart TV.
