Lovely room and huge spa, very relaxing
Pros:

Room was lovely and bed was comfortable. It was clean and modern. Plenty of parking spaces as well. Huge spa ,which felt great on the body.

Cons:

The only thing we found was that the wifi was very slow.

It was a pleasant experience in a lovely location.
Pros:

Close to shops and food outlets. Great distillery nearby. Lovely view. Friendly helpful staff.

Cons:

Internet connection was poor. Only free to air tv option. Bathroom design means floor gets wet everywhere once showers are used.

Cons:

I booked early and got a disabled room, ( should have got a room closer away from traffic noise) lighter for fireplace was empty( needs refill) shower curtain didn’t stop the water spraying everywhere (needed extra bathmats) , noisy near road, no smoking place smelt of smoke, drain stunk in bathroom.

Visiting for a wedding and had a lovely time, keen to come back for a weekend away
Pros:

The room was beautiful and spacious, particularly the 2 person spa on the outside balcony. Loved the rest, bar & distillery, and of course the staff.

Perfect room.
Pros:

The room was amazing, so clean and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable, spa was amazing, fire place easy to use, shower perfect. Was a perfect room for me.

Cons:

The road noise. The place was beautiful but my room was right on the road. During the day I didn't notice but at night it was loud for me. However I would definately stay again, the room was perfection.

Definitely would not stay here again. It has potential but needs to be upkept and maintained well.
Pros:

The location was nice as it was in front of the outlook

Cons:

The floors in the room were very sticky. the toilet seat had clear dried up stains on it. There was a lot of dust in the room. The utensils/cutlery was also dirty and appeared to have been used by previous tenants. The carpet in the room was also dirty and had stuff on it which made it uncomfortable to walk in the room without shoes on. The towels on the bed appeared to be discoloured. The phone in the room also did not work.
The host was helpful by providing a microwave to the room when we requested one. The hallway carpet was also very dirty which can be improved. The internet was also very slow which was a bit frustrating.
The room itself is nice just needs to be deep cleaned. The spa bath was also dirty with a lot of dust on it.

The utensils that were provided to us were also dirty which we did not end up using at all.

Pros:

Room and bed was comfy. Liked the spa and double showers. Size of room was generous.

Cons:

Bar fridge under cupboard got hot. Would be better to keep it separate out of the cupboard. More attention to cleaning of shower.

Not worth the price I paid.
Pros:

It was walking distance to town. It was a very quiet hotel which was nice. The view was good but we were in Montville so all views are good.

Cons:

Restaurant never opened,even though on the website it opens Friday and Saturday night. We were also told by reception it would open Saturday and then it didn’t. The wifi didn’t work after the first night and I had no phone service in the room so that was frustrating. It could have been a little cleaner, there was water on the bathroom floor when we arrived, like someone had a shower, the floor and counters were dusty as well. The standard of the room doesn’t meet the price they charge for the room.

Lovely stay, relaxing and peaceful.

Cons:

Didn’t know that the downstairs restaurant in house and bar was closed when booking. Was a shame and the pizza place was ok but not willing to remove mushrooms from a pizza.
