Over all the stay was good. I would suggest upgrading mattress pads since you spend lots of time relaxing.

I love the staff of Panvaree. They really made us feel valued during our 3 day stay there. I highly recommend to always book your transportation directly with the hotel. Your trip will feel seamless. Also book personal tours instead of group tours.

We booked a room that had no direct access to the lake, the pictures were deceveing

The overall experience of just being there is just surreal! The whole staff made our stay feels like home. Very professional and are always smiling. The food is 10/10! I would definitely go back for the views, people and food!

Je betaalt voornamelijk voor de unieke locatie in het prachtige park van Khao Sok. Het is duidelijk dat het resort een opfrisbeurt kan gebruiken maar hier waren ze gedeeltelijk mee bezig tijdens ons verblijf (vooral voor de suites). Er is airco aanwezig maar werkt enkel na 17u wat prima is.

Retiro para pareja, actividades bien organizadas, muy muy tranquilo aquí literal te desconectas del mundo
Único pero es que no había wifi en la habitación solo en el área común
Comida viene incluida en tu estadía, no es de elección libre pero pienso que razonable para cualquier gusto

Stunningly beautiful setting. Traumatic boat trip out to resort. Engine fire. Host pushed passed guests who were left to fight the fire with the boat driver. Used out hats to scoop water from the lake to put out foot high flames. Management at resort once we eventually arrived were non plussed. No acknowledgement of our ordeal other then and apology. Not even a complimentary beer! Cut short at start and at end due to the boat fire. Such a shame because it's a beautiful location. Needs money spending on repairs to walkways and steps into the water as dangerous too. Book with Cate as it's pretty pricey. A day trip or at the most 1 night stay is the maximum I'd recommend booking. Such a shame.

Well located and the food is adequate, but an overpriced trap with no peace or quiet.

What really made me angry was the “morning safari”: 20 minutes of being ferried to 3 selfie locations for 40+ minutes of selfies. I was insulted, angry, and genuinely upset. No attempt to find wildlife. No attempt to do or see anything interesting. No reverence for the location. Cookie cutter trash. I’ve been on safaris from Chitwan to the Serengetti and gladly would pay to avoid a Panvaree tour. After that, we refused to go on other “excursions”.

We didn’t have a private villa so had to stay in the room above the restaurant, which pipes Ed Sheeran in through the sewer, and the room next door hosted chimpanzees who don’t know how to not slam a door. Cloth door stoppers cost like $1. Thus, sleep was difficult. We paid 5,500 baht a night - for nightly air con and a separate bathroom; it’s not worth 2,000.

I stupidly stayed there for two nights; this amazed the staff who are used to ferrying in the cattle and then ferrying them off 20 hours later. Children scream the livelong day and staff listen to their soap operas on their phones while you’re trying to hear the gibbons.

The swimming area is difficult for anyone not in a cabin, it is impossible to step on the landing in bare feet, and the hotel uses plastic cups and straws. Oh and racist golliwog dolls on the lobby doors.

Khao Sok is a beautiful place and deserves better.

Wunderschöne Lage umgeben von Bergen, toll zum Schwimmen und zum Relaxen. 2 Boots-Touren sind kostenlos. Ich empfehle mindestens 2 Nächte zu bleiben. Sie können auch das Restaurant und die Bar des angrenzenden Panvaree The Greenery benutzen. Das a
la carte Essen ist von besserer Qualität, wie die voraus zu Zahlen Menüs. DSDS Ausland-Recall 2019 wurde hier gedreht. Das Personal ist sehr geduldig und freundlich.

Very nice floating bungalows, booked the hi-floor room , where at hotels.com it says comes with a terrace, not so.. so if you dont want to feel like you in a box dont book.
But the friendly staff, understod and since there was a free room with terrace helped me and put me there , thank you the staff at panvaree kap kun krap /tony

We LOVED our stay here! Kayak included all day which made it so easy to explore this amazing lake. The food was really good!! We read some mixed reviews about the food and I will say if you’re picky this won’t work for you because there is no choice of meals but we enjoyed every meal. One particular dinner was our favorite plate of all of Thailand. This is a stranded floating hotel so the normal hotel/resort Amenities are not available. And it’s basically in the jungle so you’ll have to manage some non harmful ants after a rain and lizards etc. We saw wild elephant and monkeys on the boat rides and loved the day excursion to a cave. Would absolutely stay again

Allow 1 hour travel from airport.
All foreigners pay 300 baht fee to enter lake.(not noted when booking).
If you expect 5 star service do not stay here, It is a remote holiday destination with little to do but look at the majestic view and relax.
The staff speak minimal english but make every effort to provide a great stay. The huts are good for multiple guests but we chose rooms above the restaurant. Steep stair entry but sensation view. I read some bad reviews about this resort, but i found it to be fantastic. I like thai food and the chef cooks it as it should be. If you are fussy eater then you must call ahead and they will provide alternative meals for you. If you want Hilton hotel dont stay here. If you want truly exceptional thai hospitality this is a hidden gem.

It's important to have the correct expectations.
This is a very remote wooden floating hotel. With the charm and wonder that comes from that. Fantastic views in all directions. And very quiet.
And the limitations. No Internet? Celebrate! Limited menu? Eat what they have!
The staff will make you happ every second. And do take all those boat rides. And swim in the lake -- a lot!

เราไปกัน 4คน หญิงล้วน ซื้อแพคเกจ 3 วัน 2 คืน เราชอบที่รีสอร์ทไม่มีสัญญาณโทรศัพท์ เพราะจะได้มีเวลานั่งคุยแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับกลุ่มเพื่อนๆ กิจกรรมของกลุ่มเราถูกรวบรัดมาไว้ในวันที่ 2 เพราะวันแรกฝนตกตลอดทำให้ไม่มีหมอก ดังนั้นวันที่ 2 กิจกรรมก็แน่นพอดู แต่พวกเราก็ยังมีเวลาเล่นน้ำหน้าห้องตั้ง 2 รอบ... ถือว่าเป็นทริปที่ได้พักผ่อนกายและใจจริงๆ ถ้ามีโอกาสก็จะกลับไปอีกครั้งค่ะ
