Travelodge London Excel Hotel

Good staff and clean rooms. Tia on reception was very friendly and polite.

I’ve been doing an inadvertent tour of London’s Travelodges in the last few weeks & they’re all great! Tonight it’s a welcome return to the Travelodge London Excel.

Also, Abi asked me to write this!

We arrived at the hotel and my son who is a huge aeroplane fan asked if we could possibly have a room with a view of the airport. Tia was so lovely and welcoming. She managed to sort the perfect room. We have travelled from Devon and had been stuck in some horrendous traffic to arrive to the nicest of Welcomes. The staff have been amazing. Tia and Julla especially looked after us so well.

I really liked the service provided from the TL staff and they were very professional TIA/julia

The staff in this hotel are very friendly i had my doubts about this hotel but it was the cheapest out of the area Demz was amazing very attentive and always fixed my issues the food was great breakfast was a bit busy but it was a nice start to the day thank you

I stayed at london excel for the pokemon event at the excel and this hotel is amazingthe staff are very friendly and helpful especially demz she helped us alot and had all the questions we needed we will be back next year

Basic travelodge room. Small and cramped but basic and all you need for a nights sleep. Clean and tidy. Basic. Parking expensive. And a can of Pepsi at the bar is extremely over priced.

Stayed for an event at the Excel Centre. Staff were courteous and friendly, had lovely food and service from a variety of staff, but the only two names I managed to catch were Abdur and Motiur. Will be back next year!

Was wary about staying as I saw some concerning reviews but the stay was great. I stayed 3 nights for Pokémon with my son. Parking was plentiful and only £12 for 24 hours. Luggage can’t be held so you can’t check in any earlier unless you pay for early check in. Rooms were clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. We had Breakfast all 3 days. We’re vegan and there was a lot for us to choose from. We had dinner in the hotel one night and the food was very good. Everyone was very nice and helpful especially Abi, Demz & Julia. Easy 10 minute walk to the Excel. We’d definitely stay here again!

The hotel is very convenient to the excel centre which is fantastic! The staff were lovely, especially Julia, Joy and IA.
They very kindly gave me a free teddy for valentine's day.

The hotel room is a good size and the bed is comfy. Parking isn't a terrible price for London!

This was our fifth stay at this location and we love it here!
The staff have a lot on their plate during Pokemon weekend, when we tend to stay here, and always have smile on and are so helpful and accommodating.
I would like to shout out CJ, Tia, Joy and Julia for making this particular stay extra enjoyable. They really have gone above and beyond for the guests and our other friends who are staying here all said the same thing.
We will be bringing them some chocolates for the staff room as a small thank you from us

We have been staying in this hotell for 5 years and this year has just been amazing the staff here are truly amazing they go above and beyond to make your stay nice and enjoyable!!! A huge thank you to Julla anxhela tia and joy for making it’s such a good 5 days I was verry worried coming to London in a wheelchair and you all made it so easy and pleasurable as soon as I got to the hotel xx

I had a great stay here, Vee the manager was very helpful. Wilson served me a nice drink very friendly and gave me a nice room

We stayed at this hotel for a week because of an international tournament. Despite the bad reviews we'd read, we stayed anyway, and I have to say, it wasn't bad at all. The staff was very welcoming and attentive, the room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was excellent (considering that my son hates breakfast and was happy to have it here). Of course, not all that glitters is gold: the proximity to the airport is very noisy, but that's a price to pay for being so close; a lot of noise during the night (car and seagulls; and the lack of a hairdryer in the room (which is now available in almost every accommodation). But overall, we had a great time. Special mention to the staff I met during our stay (including Avinashi), who exuded professionalism and friendliness. If we ever return to London, we will seriously consider staying here again.

The best spot when you want to go and have a fun time. The happy hour was good value for money, staff are so good at their job. CJ red and Mirian are lovely
