Travelodge London Bethnel Green

location was easy to find only a slight problem with location of room oppisite uni accomadation so quite noisy when u want to open the window where they gather on the street outside , very clean & basic room hairdryer on request , lovely staff very welcoming apart from i booked late check out & had the housekeeping staff knocking to ask when im leaving before normal check out time , brilliant value would stay again

The receptionist, Deanne, was wonderful. Her positive side, smiles, and jokes made our day so much better. COYG

Served by Karen and Sherrie who were very friendly and welcoming.

The room was clean and as expected. I also had a quick pint at the hotel bar before heading out and Michelle behind the bar was great - very friendly, welcoming and easy to talk to. Would recommend grabbing a pint here.

Excellent customer service by lady named Mali at Bethnal green travelodge. She helpful and kind and explained things well.

It’s a great location - close enough to zone 1, but secluded enough that you’re not disturbed.

The atmosphere is generally warm and friendly. I have stayed at this particular venue several times and although, it can be busy, with some guests being particularly demanding, the staff handle it with professionalism and efficiency.

I usually take an accessible room which is in a secluded, quieter part of the building. The rooms are large and the wet rooms sufficient, although in my opinion some are fitted better than others.

I think the value for money is generally ok, if not a little on the expensive side. I would also appreciate a loyalty scheme as a returning customer. There may be one, but I haven’t been made aware of it.

Generally speaking the level of cleanliness is as you would expect - consistently clean enough and well presented, but with the odd mark here or there.

During my most recent visit, I had a couple of separate issues, but the staff were really helpful ant patient with me. Michelle in particular went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and Dianne listened to my concerns, explaining the procedure with clarity and kindness.

This particular stay, I gave a 3, because of issues out of the staff’s control, but I would absolutely stay here again

I stayed for 4 days, the staff were extra nice especially Michelle she was so helpful with sorting out breakfast for us, got kids of time for the staff they were all helpful, smiling and promote a happy vibe

Great experience. Really nice and clean hotel. The staff was really friendly. Met Mali at reception who was really warm and helpful. Always having a good smile and a helping nature.

Area was typical East London with access to restaurants etc. Room was basic but clean. Slightly lumpy pillow. There is some noise from the trains, but it didn't affect me. Staff were so lovely, friendly to talk to and went out of their way.

Ask for the super room, they have an iron :)

Just a quick note to say a huge thanks to Deane on reception at your hotel. She’s brilliant!

I checked in after a long drive, feeling pretty tired, and she was just so lovely—really efficient but also genuinely friendly and warm. We actually ended up having a proper laugh because I was quietly singing Robbie Williams’ ‘Feels’ to myself (it’s a proper earworm!) and she caught me. It was just one of those silly, human moments that made me feel right at home instead of just another customer.

Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she has that brilliant knack of making everything feel easy. People like Deane really make your stay. She’s a total credit to your team.
