Koh Kood Paradise Beach

Because was low season they closed the restaurant early, so you had to find other places to eat, which weren't many. But as we seemed to get ill after eating in the restaurant the 1st day wss probably just as well.
Room was nice and bed good, there seemed to be a slight problem with the electrics, as ours worked even when the key wasn't in the slot to open the electrics. 😁

Beautiful resort next to the beach. Everything is of high quality; from the rooms, breakfast (buffet style), amenities, to the pool and surrounding area.

Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

The highlight of our stay was a little store nearby, called MateOasis. It’s a 7 minutes walk from the premise, but it’s so worth it. The food there is amongst the best I’ve tasted in Thailand ever. The owner is very friendly, kind and funny. She makes you feel like part of the family in no time. If you come to the resort, please do not forget to go and eat there (you can also order food from her to your hotel, but it’s nicer to go and interact at her place. At least we thought so).

Amazing stay at the beach. We stayed for 6 nights in a superior garden view room. Room was large with adequate storage. Air conditioner worked well. Fridge was stocked with water daily. We unfortunately had two twin beds but beds were comfy. Room was quiet, away from main buildings and beach. Older rooms but clean. Could use with more hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. We rented a scooter from them with no issues. Breakfast buffet was on the smaller side but still had enough options. Pool was large and clean. Not much shade or loungers pool side. Beach was amazing. White sand, clear water. Lots of loungers and umbrellas and trees for shade if needed. Beach bar was great. Staff very nice and helpful. Able to eat lunch and dinner at the bar or at tables next to the beach. Good menu for food and drinks. On the pricier side compared to restaurants away from the beach. Nightly singing entertainment beachside. Great resort feel with all the amenities on one of the nicest beaches on the island.

Not worth the money , hotel rooms have to many issues, moved rooms twice due to multiple issues with rooms, rooms are in need of repairs, walls dirty, floor boards creek like crazy, rooms not clean, dirty glasses in room, not what you expect when you pay £170 per night. Beach was nice but that’s about it, useless management, not listening to customers issues, definitely would not return.

Not huge but really lovely rooms and a great big bathroom. Nice big comfy bed.
Jungle area around each balcony- so we got loads of bites.
Bar service- drinks are really good but service can be slow and bar girl Noon looks completely disinterested. Good looking Thai boy was great but saw the drop in service the night he wasn’t there. Good happy hour.
Beach area is very nice and there are loads of loungers, also swings and bean bags.
There are free kayaks but snorkels are 150 baht.
Nice big pool which was not busy at all when we were here. There are poolside massages, I didn’t have one but they looked good and were ok prices.
Service at restaurant is excellent and staff really friendly here, although the food was a hit and a miss. Pizzas were excellent. Good Filipino singers at beachside restaurant each night.
Nice enough hotel but I think I would stay somewhere different next time as food is important to us and friendly bar staff also make a difference when there is nowhere else nearby.

We stayed in room V25, and I would like to commend the female receptionist (I regret not asking her name) for her exceptional service. We rented a motorbike from her and observed how she attentively cared for all the customers, consistently smiling and greeting everyone. The staff at the beachfront restaurant was also very professional and attentive, despite the large number of guests, they remained dedicated to providing excellent service, continuously ensuring that all guests were well taken care of. Nun, in particular, made our stay even more enjoyable by attending to every detail with great care. We are truly grateful for her outstanding service. We will certainly return for another stay in the future.

Mixed reviews of this place meant we were apprehensive when we arrived after our visits to Chang and Mak.
We needn’t have worried. Plenty of sunbeds, room very pleasant, cleaning good, towels changed.
Staff very pleasant. Beach lovely and we had no issues with sandflies.
Breakfast was a bit dull, but edible.

Der Strand ist wunderschön und das Hotel an sich sehr ruhig. Was man bedenken sollte ist, dass es ein Nebengebäude gibt - nicht jeder ist einer der kleinen Häuser untergebracht. Leider ist das auf den Bildern nicht so rübergekommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 😊!

The service was HORRIBLE. The staff in the reception was unexisting. They were not welcoming. Theh did not even say hi to us, when walking through the area. Even if we initiated it.
The restaurant was overpriced. The pool was dirty.

They had a minimarket on the resort which was nice. Our bungallow was also very nice!

We had a great time. The beach is one of the most beautiful on the island with less influence of the tides and less crowded than other beaches. The nature and the environment were amazingly beautiful with a lot of palm trees and flowers. Moreover one can rent a Kayak for free every day for one hour and go snorkeling nearby to check out the amazing sea life in the rocks at a beach only a few 100 meters away.

We did not stay in the bungalows but took an appartment in the building which is a 3 minutes walk to the reception and maybe 6 minutes to the beach. Even for this small distance a golf cart shuttle was abailable.

The service is good, the staff friendly and they make your appartment every day if you wish so. The beds are very comfortable. Partly it could have been a little cleaner but it was still ok/good enough.

Lastly one can rent a scooter for 300 Baht (125ccm) or 400 Baht (160ccm) per day which is a good service.

Totally amazing experience. At this resort I would come back again and again and again.

Great place to relax. Large area to walk around, nice big pool and awesome beach. Not very crowded (March 2024).

En bit att gå till havet, tråkigt hotell i den del vi bodde, för få solsängar, fick gå ner och lägga ut badhandukar innan kl 8,00 för att få en plats, inga solsängar runt poolen som på bilden, ingen annan stans att sitta om man inte hade någon solsäng, strandrestaurangen var inte öppen förrän efter kl 10 om man ville ha något att dricka, dåligt utbud i den affär som fanns på området. I vouchern stod det att det ingick båttransfer, vilket var fel information.

The staff were wonderful, expecially Heart and his colleagues at the bar. The room was very big, as was the bed but unfortunately a long walk from the main building and the beach. Also, there was very little appropriate storage space in the room. There were only 35 sun beds in a resort housing around 100 rooms/villas. This meant people were "reserving" them during the night, a practice sadly condoned by the management. In our seventies, we were often left without a lounger, forcing us to sit/lie on the grass or beach or go to another resort for the day The room key fob had to be inserted for electricity which meant that devices could only be charged when the room was occupied. The shop had very little useful stock and we had to go to the adjacent resort for anything we needed. The bar stools and dining chairs were beautiful to look at and very heavy and solid, however, they were fiercely uncomfortable as there were no cushions whatsoever. The whole property was very clean and generally well maintained. The food was good and the beach delightful.

Very nice property. Recently renovated. Everything works. Beach is clean, clear water. Lots of gardening and coconut groves. Very good breakfast, considering it's an island. Restaurant also cooks good food and reasonably priced. Kayaks and snorkels available for free. Kids loved it. Added attraction - there is a freindly talking Sulphur Cockatoo named Toby, kids loved it. Not much option to go out there is a small eatery on the right side of gate. Beautiful Shantaa Kohkood is just opposit, nice for an early dinner.

Overall value Very good experience in Koh Kood paradise.

Such a beautiful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and the swimming pool was great and the perfect place to watch the sunset. Everything felt very clean.

We had a nice, large room. There was a large selection of food. There was a small supermarket nearby, but not much else.
