The location, staff, food and the hotel itself are all amazing. Located in the Buda Castle area - a fabulous spot - easy access to the Matthias church, Fisherman’s Bastion and a short walk down to the Chain Bridge and Parliament Houses. If you’re 65 or over free bus trips back up to the castle district.
The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
The double bed room was actually a king size bed. Extremely comfortable and quiet.
Breakfast was wonderful ranging from cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, croissants, pastries and a yummy selection of hot foods.
We had 2 evening meals there and again the quality of the food was first class as was the Hungarian wine.
We were only there 3 full days and highly recommend the hop on and off bus service.
We were two female friends holidaying together and felt extremely safe and welcome - the Hungarian people are very friendly and helpful.
I’d go back to the Madison next time I visit
Quiet, friendly, high-quality boutique hotel in Buda
Hotel de trato muy cercano y amable, acogedor y bien equipado, nos encantó nuestra habitación, la cama era comodísima! Teníamos cafetera, tetera y botellas de agua filtrada incluidas. El desayuno variado y de calidad. Y la situación inmejorable ya que es una zona muy tranquila pero perfectamente equipada, con parada de bus al lado mismo, que en 15 minutos te deja al otro lado del río. Muy recomendable!
