Very disappointing stay

Our stay at Les Patios du Marais was disappointing and did not match the listing. There was no sound insulation, making it impossible to sleep, and construction work started at 7:30 a.m. without prior notice. The apartment was not properly cleaned, the internet did not work, and the bathroom was extremely small and unsafe. Access instructions were unclear and the building was poorly lit. The toilet also malfunctioned during the night.

We contacted the accommodation to raise these issues, but no action was taken and no response was provided. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend this property.

Cute flat
Pros:

Lovely mini flat well equipped, charming decorated. 10 mins walking distance from the metro or underground stop. I must say in the beginning I had some problems with water leaking in my toilet but they fixed straight away. They don’t have a lift you have to go up and down the stairs with your suitcases. They do t have a key is all electronic passcode.

Mice were found in the apartment, food bags chewed, and no response was given at check-out. Unacceptable hygiene issue

The apartment itself was satisfactory, but discovering the presence of mice was entirely unacceptable. On my final morning, I found several food bags that had been chewed through, which was both unpleasant and deeply concerning. This represents a serious issue of hygiene and maintenance that should be addressed without delay. It regrettably spoiled what might otherwise have been a pleasant and comfortable stay. Unfortunately, at the time of check-out, no response was given to the complaint

Terrible. Went inside snd we couldnt find anybody to help us . This was like an old apartments setting not a hotel. As we walked through the gates we found a very unfriendly lady that wasnt willing to help when we were asking her questions and didnt speak english. We called the property several times and couldnt find anybody. Terrible experience. Dont book this place. We left and booked another hotel. We didnt care about losing around $600+ on this horrible experience.

The pictures online are not accurate. The bathroom is a death trap, shower area is a joke, you have to open the shower door to turn your body. Broken tiles, rust everywhere. Disgusting
carpet in hallways. Bedroom area has one bed, horrible mattress and one small pull out sofa which is supposed to be big enough for two people (maybe 2 small children) The area is very
central but extremely overpriced for quality of
room.

Pros:

No estaba listo el estudio cuando llegamos. Tuvimos q esperar mas de 30 minutos.
Las camaa estan en una area incomodo de subir. Nos golpeamos la cabeza varias veces.
Solo vimos a las personas q limpiaron el estudio. No hubo contacto ninguno con el staff. El wifi mut bien.
Nos hospedamos alli porq el area es excelente, muy centrico.

* Bed bugs seen, reported, pictures submitted, skin infection, no action from hotel (short from telling us we could move out)

* very narrow staircase to reach 1st floor (dangerous for older individuals or children)

Overall we loved the area and the convenience of having an apartment with a full kitchen. We were fortunate enough to be on the second floor which wasn’t that bad with no elevator. I think the descriptions should state what floor they are on. If anything happens it is very hard to get a hold of someone to resolve. We were locked out of the apartment for a while because our electric lock didn’t work. We stayed 8 nights and could have used extra trash bags and a broom. With all this in mind I would consider staying there again.

Nice area - disappointing communication
Pros:


We stayed in 4th floor apartment with huge skylight over the bed.
Nice kitchen- lots of equipment and utensils.
But - the furniture is old and damaged- the skylight leaked and the internet was down or very slow when working.
The stairs are a hazard - especially with bags.
The communication was awful. I wrote to tell them we would arrive at midnight to be sure we would have no trouble getting into the room. They responded’no problem!’
When we got to the address there was no sign or indication that it is a hotel (it is definitely NOT a hotel with any amenities)
You MUST check in on line to learn that there is no sign for 'patios' on the street, how to enter the courtyard reception area and you won't get your room number or code unless you complete the check in on line in advance of arriving. No where is this mentioned, by the way . . .
