Hak Boutique Hotel & Resort

Really enjoyed Hak and his family. The hotel was about 1 km from the city and only a dollar or two to get into town. But it was nice and quiet and away from crazy pub Street. We had a fantastic time and the hotel driver Joy helped us get everywhere we needed to go. If you have kids definitely check out the water park. It's clean and really fun! We had a fantastic time at the temples and the hero. Rats and the botanical garden and would really recommend this hotel as both the driver and the owners of the hotel are Cambodian and speak excellent English. Also there was excuse me free water to refill water bottles with and The prices of the meals at the hotel were excellent, only a few dollars and the food was delicious. Highly recommend! We will be back!

Hal and his family were amazing hosts and looked after me (as I was ill) for the week I stayed there.
The room was spacious and clean. Food great and priced well.
And the pool was the perfect medicine.

What can I say? There is so much to fit into a review. Our family stayed for almost a month and we felt so at home, we never wanted to leave. Hak and Ming make everyone feel amazingly welcome and you quickly feel like part of a big, warm family along with the other guests. It became a community for our kids and every day was such a pleasure. It's quiet (out of the middle of town) - perfect for a family and small enough to retain a friendly atmosphere. Everything is personal and full of pride. Hak look's after the grounds with love and care and Ming's cooking is the best we had in Siem Reap and at such a reasonable price. The pool is bliss on a hot day, just to sit and read or pass the time with other customers, share stories and advice. And then you're a quick tuktuk ride from the most amazing temples and history we've ever seen! I doesn't get any better than this!

The room was clean and Mrs. Hak was very kind, she helped me talking with tuktuk driver when he got lost.

We need a ride from a city to the hotel, but worth it because you can wake up with the voices of birds and animals.

Felt more like a resort than a hotel. Gorgeous tropical plants throughout, super clean pool, quiet neighborhood and wonderful hosts. 10 minute ride to center of town although the road it is on needs some serious upkeep

Everyone was so kind and welcoming, gracious, and professional. The Sky Pool is a joy. Breakfasts are wonderful, Room Service unbelievably fantastic, too! They will make you feel welcomed and customer service is amazing!

I spent two and a half weeks in Asia recently and 5 days of that in Siem Reap at Hak's Boutique Hotel. it was an amazing experience. The garden is like a little paradise with beautiful tropical trees, birds, lizards and a pool to cool down. I loved every minute being there.
The room and bathroom were clean and big and the whole of the Hotel is excellent for relaxing there after the exhausting visits in the temples of Angkor.
Hak is a very helpful and nice guy, sent Lucky the tuktuk driver to pick me up from the airport. From that point I went everywhere using the services of Lucky.
Thanks guys! I will definitely come back.
And Hak! The plants have survived the trip back home, now I jut hope they will survive the weather here too. :)

Mr.Hak, his wife and their 2 children are the best host you can have !! They do everything to give you a wonderfull time !

Also Lucky, the tuk tuk driver from the house is a friendly and good man, he brings you everywhere you want too go in a safe way !!

First the positives. Room was clean with a comfortable bed, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The breakfast though simple was tasty and there’s a good range of dishes for the evening meal, all priced around $4. However the biggest plus is the owner Hak who is ever so helpful, arranging pretty well anything you need. He was also up for my 5.30am departure so he could give me a takeaway breakfast.
The only negative is it’s a little out of town in a new area which means a lot of Tuk Tuk/taxi drivers struggle to find it. It is however accurately placed on google maps which is very handy.
Overall I would stay again if I returned to Siem Reap

Don't worry about the location being outside of the city centre. A short $1 tuk-tuk ride drops you right in the middle of the city, any time of the day or night.

What you get in exchange for the need to take a cheap tuk-tuk into town, is a lovely hotel, with a lush tropical garden and a fantastic pool. This makes it the perfect place to relax away from the chaos of the city.

The rooms are clean, and the on-site restaurant serves delicious food, cooked by a popular YouTube presenter, who specialises in cooking Cambodian food in the traditional manner.

The cherry on top, is the fact that the owner, Hak, and his entire family, are all such lovely, friendly and helpful people. Whatever you need to make your visit to Siem Reap perfect, Hak and his team can assist you with.

Me and my partner have spent a wonderful days with Hak and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment at Hak BoutiqueHotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, clean. the owner Hak and his family were so helpful and awesome, they arrange our airport pickup and tours. Haks wife cook fantastic meal and we ate here most of the evening. Swimming pool and garden was great and relaxing after a long hot days out doing temples. we would highly recommend Hak BoutiqueHotel to anyone.

Cozy and lovely small hotel, family-run business. Owner Mr. Hak is awesome and will do his best to help you planning your day trips and make your stay easy and confortable. Would come back if i visit Siem Reap again.

The Boutique hotel is located in a peaceful and nice area. We really enjoyed the atmosphere at the hotel. We can relax and have privately time to our self. The hotel room was clean and spacious. The most important things about this hotel is Hak and his family, they have been very kind and friendly to us all time we stayed. Hak even personally took us back to the airport on our check out day. We felt so welcome and safe staying at Hak Boutique. We highly recomend this hotel.

This place is a little haven. It is not far out of town! A tuk tuk is always available to get you around. Hak and his family are delightful and nothing is too much to ask for. Hak will do his best to accommodate. I stayed in a four star hotel in Phnom Penh and it doesn't compare. Hak's is not as fancy but it is clean, comfortable, and a happy friendly place where you can relax in peace. Cannot recommend enough.

I liked all but outside hotel was very funny with lotus fields.
