Initial Experience
Pros:

I have to admit I didn't stay in the hotel. I can see very good reviews from others. So it's about initial bad experience. I had not booked a hotel , my wife just had a surgery. So I and my little baby went around after online search in Agoda to the hotel for just an overnight stay and we would be leaving next morning. I asked to charge the agoda rate but the front desk person Mr Naved, insisted on paying at higher rate but was not polite about it. He could have been polite about it.

Pros:

I would like to sincerely appreciate the F&B team at Novotel Guwahati for their outstanding service and exceptional food.

Every dish was incredibly delicious, full of flavor, and uniquely prepared. Each item had its own distinct taste, making every meal a wonderful experience. The quality and consistency of the food truly deserve appreciation.

I would also like to commend the staff Mr.Rofiqul for being extremely courteous, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Their warmth and professionalism made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Thank you to the entire team for your hard work, dedication, and hospitality. Wishing you all continued success and the very best for the future. Keep up the excellent work!

A fic
Pros:

Breakfast was just fantastic. The staff at breakfast and room service were very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and well stacked.

Cons:

Dont, and i mean just dont expect a reply to your emails or messages and no one picks up the phone if you try calling them.
And the best part was the man during checkin at reception, he was like either overworked or underpaid. When i tried to put up a complaint he said maybe they were busy so they couldn’t take my calls, but id been calling them 6-7 times since 6 in the morning till around 3 pm when i checked in. And when i showed him the 5-6 messages and emails i had been sending for 4 days he simply said he would look into it and maybe they forgot to reply. It was like he least cared and just ment to say ‘take it or leave it’. He was showing such a sulking face.
As a person who is travelling for the last 20 years and around 7-8 months a year and many a times i put up at guest houses in small towns ive never face such a cold and sulking person at checkin.
I would simply never put up in Novotel as the experience was terrible and felt like he is doing me a favour by giving me a room.

Remarkable Service
Pros:

We are regular guests at Novotel, Guwahati.
Its always a gratifying experience dining at their all - day dining signature restaurant...Square.
Apart from the chef's exquisite culinary skills, the dining staff displayed exemplary service.
Namely, Lynti Wahlang, Rafigul and Nadir for their outstanding service.
Lynti, was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu. She offered excellent recommendations, ensured we were comfortable without being intrusive, and made our evening truly memorable.
