Poor Maintenance
Pros:

My spouse and I revisited the Cuero area since October 2025. We decided to give this property another stay and we were disappointed that the property owner has NOT addressed issues brought to their attention. Marriott Corporation needs to inspect their franchise owners and take corrective action.

ISSUES:

1. Fix hallway air conditioning - hot and humid
2. Replace missing baseboards in hallway and in rooms
3. Fix maintenance room air conditioning and close door to reduce noise
4. Mow grass and weeds on a more frequent basis.
5. Clean trash in parking lot and grass
6. Clean window exteriors to remove mold and mildew.
7. Clean mold & mildew from building exterior
8. Inspect & fix single creaking elevator

Had to switch rooms. The first room smelled like mildew. They obviously had a water leak right I. Front of our room. There were fans running right I front of the room.
For the rest of the stay the entire building smelled like sewer. There are problems at this facility they need attention. Was not a pleasant stay.

The small hispanic lady was very polite and nice and helpful. She should be in the mornings shifts not the short lady. She's so rude.
