For the price it was ok.
Pros:

It was very clean and updated. The breakfast was good. The staff was very nice.

Cons:

The beds were hard as a rock. The TV did not work.

I have yet to receive my deposit back.The air conditioner was leaking water it wet my socks and shoes. The was room was not clean properly because l found someone's glasses on the floor under the desk.

Cons:

We were there 4 nights and there was never an attempt to freshen the room after being asked. The front desk person obviously is not a good customer service manager. So many things. I stepped into a hole in the room and my foot went thru the floor. My daughter was assigned another room. There was no offer to help her move. My leg was hurting from the incident. So much more…😞

Great stay at Fairfield!
Pros:

It was very restful night as we were visting our grandchildren and our daughter's family in Cuero Texas.
The staff was very professional , friendly and had our room ready, we did't stay for breakfast as our daughter fed us.

Poor Maintenance
Pros:

My spouse and I revisited the Cuero area since October 2025. We decided to give this property another stay and we were disappointed that the property owner has NOT addressed issues brought to their attention. Marriott Corporation needs to inspect their franchise owners and take corrective action.

ISSUES:

1. Fix hallway air conditioning - hot and humid
2. Replace missing baseboards in hallway and in rooms
3. Fix maintenance room air conditioning and close door to reduce noise
4. Mow grass and weeds on a more frequent basis.
5. Clean trash in parking lot and grass
6. Clean window exteriors to remove mold and mildew.
7. Clean mold & mildew from building exterior
8. Inspect & fix single creaking elevator
