This is an older hotel but well maintained. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was excellent with lots of options.

Cons:

My floor had both smoking and non-smoking rooms. I can smell the cigarette in the hallway and sometimes the smell permeated into my room. The air/heat system blew the air directly toward the bed (where my head laid) despite adjusting the directions. These are big issues when one has respiratory problems.

Pros:

函館駅や朝市からも近かったので、良かった。
チェック前（午前中）から、荷物を預けることが出来て、身軽に函館市内を周れたのが、助かりました。

Cons:

夜中、風が強く、外のどこかのトタンのような音が聞こえてきて眠れなかった。
　隣の部屋に宿泊していた家族も同様で、眠れなかった。と言っていた。
