Holman's Heritage Suites

Suite was clean, cozy and comfortable, original home touches with modern conveniences. Owners and staff were very helpful and courteous. Was very walkable and we enjoyed the outside garden and family ambience of the ice cream parlor.

Great historic property with charm aplenty. The principals were very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure a late check in. And yes, the Ice Cream is a must!

The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable and the price is very very reasonable.

Stayed in a 2 floor apartment with a small kitchen. We could park right outside the door. The property was close to dining options and right above the ice cream shoppe. It was clean, roomy, and quiet. We would recommend. The location was a good jumping off point for visits to Cavendish and the North Cape.

If you're looking for a home-like atmosphere rather than a chain motel, this is definitely the place to go! Very spacious with quality vintage furnishings. Incredibly comfortable and relaxing stay. It was a pleasure to interact with the owners and staff. We will be staying here for all our annual PEI visits. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Holman’s Heritage Suites was truly wonderful. The house was spotless, comfortable, and filled with antique charm that brought Anne of Green Gables to mind. The kitchen had everything we needed, the location was excellent, and the ice cream shop downstairs was absolutely delicious. We also loved the beautiful garden and the local performances. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. Visiting PEI for the first time with our children was unforgettable, and we left with such happy memories. I would highly recommend this place to friends and anyone visiting the island!

We stayed in the Holman executive suite. The accomations were wonderful. The full kitchen was perfect for saving on meals. The space was clean spacious and perfect for the family. Some perks included the best ice cream doqnstairs and the ability to do a load of laundry. The owners were very nice and available if you needed anything. This stay was nothing less than perfect for our family of four.

We stayed in the executive apartment. It was much bigger than we realized. It has a private entrance from the ground floor, a living room and kitchen on the second floor of the home and a bedroom with two Queen beds, a big walk in closet and a bathroom on the third floor. We enjoyed exploring the island and coming home to the most delicious ice cream every night!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was a great base for exploring central PEI. It was an easy walk to lots of places to eat and to the boardwalk for sunset.

Ellen’s garden suite was clean, comfortable, and very cute, with chairs on the patio if we didn’t want to sit right in the garden. The ice cream shop conveniently located below was a great place for a treat in the evening!

Check in / check out was very easy and having laundry available was another excellent perk!

This was a homey experience. The apartment was very comfortable and worked great for our family. The location was beautiful and convinient. The host was fantastic and communicated well before and durning our stay. We woukd 100% stay here again!

Holman Suites is a fantastic place to stay! The second floor apartment has a kitchen (full refrigerator, toaster, toaster oven, hot plate, kettle & microwave…no oven)
The kitchen is well stocked.
There is a living room, bathroom and separate spacious bedroom with a comfortable queen sized bed and wardrobe with lots of windows offering natural light.
It’s 2 blocks from the ocean and is above Holmans Ice Cream parlour…the ice cream is so yummy!

A lovely and well cared for property with everything you need. The suites are soundproof and well stocked. We ate the most delicious ice cream every day, sat by the outdoor fire, enjoyed the gardens and loved every minute. We will definitely be returning.

Such a lovely gem. We were happily surprised by how large the suite was. The smell of ice cream was often whafting through the floor of the living room and we had to make sure to have a visit downstairs to try it! Communication with the owners was thorough and check in was so easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it again.

The weather was amazing during our stay July 18-20, 2025 the room was well air conditioned so you could sleep comfortably. The fact there was an ice cream parlour downstairs was a big added bonus. It was also very quiet in the room you would never know there was an ice cream parlour downstairs. It was close to anywhere you wanted to go.
It was my son and nephews first time to the island so it was a great experience for both of them and they really enjoyed themselves. I would recommend Holmans to anyone looking for a place to stay on the island it’s a home away from home.

The suite was large and clean. The charm of the heritage building added to the warmth of the place. The remote "check-in" was easy.

Nice location in heritage home. Downtown there is the most delicious ice cream business in PEI, they are very busy, it did not affect our stay.

We booked for the CBMF weekend, the rate was very reasonable, and the room offered everything we wanted. The check-in was contactless as we had received instruction and a door code in advance. We had no issues whatsoever. It is a lovely property, our suite was perfect with a separate bedroom, pull out couch in the living area and a kitchenette. Parking was included and on the property. We checked out early Sunday morning, and realized when we were unpacking at home that we had left a souvenir from the festival in the room. When I called, Daniel was very helpful and quickly sent me a picture to confirm what had been forgotten. He arranged to have the item shipped back to us. Fantastic service!
