It is well located, an easy taxi ride to anywhere we wanted to go. Tours were happy to pick us up there. The 2 bedroom apartment was clean, roomy & very comfortable for our group of 3. Free shuttle provided to & from airport. Staff was friendly & helpful.

the room and furniture are new
The new building is separate from the main building, and we need to call the front desk to arrange a van between our building and the lobby. But the distance is very short, just a 1-minute drive.
We stayed in a small apartment in building opposite the main hotel for 7 nights in early March. There’s a convenience shuttle between the two buildings but the walk takes less than 2 minutes. This is handy when it is 20 below zero. The unit had two spacious bedrooms with a Queen size bed in each and each had an adjoining bathroom. On day 2, we had an issue with one of the toilets and room safe that were both dealt with promptly. Bedding was comfortable and apartment was warm (too warm in fact but we could adjust the temperature). Wifi was more than adequate with Prime, Netflix and Local TV also available. Dishwasher, washer and dryer, induction stove and microwave were in good working order. We were allotted one box of laundry detergent, one dryer sheet, two dishwasher pucks and a 100cc dishwasher liquid for the week (all quite adequate). We were on the third floor and had no noise issues. The bonus was we were able to see the Aurora from our balcony for nearly all 7 nights.
These are very minor things but I would recommend larger bowls for soup and for cereal. A larger frying pan (could barely fit three slices of bacon at a time) would nice and strainer for washing vegetables. The floor was often dusty and dirty (as this was winter) so would suggest putting a broom and dust pan in each unit. A mat in front of the door to balcony would be another idea to cut down on Iceland/snow and dirt on the floor.

Rooms also had a fridge, microwave, toaster , coffee machine and kettle
Room daily tidy up was sometimes spotty and you had to chase down the cleaning staff to get assistance
