Nice and friendly staff. The room and facilitybis good. Perfect stay
We had a lovely 2 nights here. Lovely rooms, good bed, clean. Staff were very good and accommodating. Would stay here again if we ever return.
Absolutely lovely pool, sitting areas, and the gym area was large, not a lot of weights but plenty of cardio machines and very nice yoga room.
The categories for ratings don’t really reflect our stay. The staff was excellent! Ms. Candy at the front desk was helpful making phone calls for us. The shuttle service was also readily available. The breakfast staff was super upbeat and friendly. The breakfast choices were limited and could have been changed up a bit.
WARNING - you need ear plugs. There is a neighborhood full of roosters! You will hear them as early as 4:30AM.
The pool is also freezing!
We had a very pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly.
Language was a minor issue.
Well simply the best hotel we have stayed in so far in all of Asia no more to say
There are roosters next door that crow ~18 hours throughout the day and night. Try to get a room as far away from them as you can unless you like waking up at 4:00AM. Other than that, the people are very nice and over-all, it was a pretty good stay.
It was a excellent stay , specifically because of the staff. All of the staff from the desk people to the cleaning staff were all wonderful and helpful. I will stay there again and i would definitely recommend all other travelers from solo travelers to families etc.
Schönes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern mit toller Aussicht. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum, das Beste was wir in Asien hatten. Der Service ist leider noch ausbaufähig.
Great staff with good facilities. About 20 mins bike ride to downtown (bike is free for hotel guests)!
Breakfast food is nice! Highly recommended.
I checked in last week for 3 nights stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes walking distance to town. Some of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, I personally encountered a few issues. I emailed the hotel 4 days before my arrival asking the hotel to arrange an airport pick up. The hotel confirmed the transfer. When I arrived at the airport, no one was there. I waited a few minutes and then called the hotel. One of the receptionists picked up the phone and said the hotel did send someone. I told him no one was here (I was the last passenger at the airport) eventually he said he will arrange another pick up for me. I finally got picked up almost 20 minutes after I made that call. When I arrived at the hotel, not a single apology from the receptionist. The check-in was normal and didn’t take long but the receptionist clearly didn’t show any sign of the great Laos’s hospitality.
My second irritation was they charged me a different price that was given to me relating to the above airport transfer. When it was time for me to check out, I saw the transfer cost and showed the receptionist (a different one from the night I checked-in) the email from the hotel about how much it will charge me for airport transfer. At this point, I didn’t argue and just gave them the money and left. I was irritated not because of the money (it was small amount). But it was the principle. And maybe more training to the staff.
My partner and I only had time for one night in Luang Prabang but we wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel was 15 mins from the airport and the hotel arranged transport for 50,000 kip. We arrived on the early flight from Vientaine and left our bags with the concierge who also arranged a minivan for us to go to the Pak Ou caves and Kuang Si waterfalls whilst we checked in. In the evening we got a 5 min tuktuk ride to a fantastic little restaurant called “Secret Pizza”. The room was spacious, modern and clean with a balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast was included and had a beautiful collection of western and local food. We’d like to say a special thank you to the staff who clearly worked hard to make our stay very enjoyable.
The hotel is a bit far from town center, less than a mile and walkable, but we moved to a hotel closer after a couple nights. Nice room but few tables, chairs, or reading lamps. Nice pool area.
This is a lovely hotel, everything is clean and well organised. The breakfast buffet is varied and mixes traditional Lao food with western style breakfasts. Paul the hotel manager is a lovely guy and goes out of his way to help to make your stay enjoyable. Excellent mojitos at the poolside bar!
Nice hotel. Bit chaotic re. service
Absolutely a great hotel to be at.
Great staff from start to finish, at pick up and everyday of our stay
for us a lovely breakfast included in our room rate.
Superb conditions and large room
15 minute walk into beautiful Luang Prabang through interesting local area. A fantastic city
Wonderful city - so much to do but also really laid back
This is a very nice hotel with a good pool (but very cold) and very nice rooms. My issue with this hotel is the management. They hotel is poorly managed and it shows with the staff. The people at the front desk are not very helpful and the people that mangae the day breakfast with very rude. When you went to breakfest and it doesn't matter if you went when breakfast just opened or later in the service, there was never enough food putout for the customers to eat and you had to ask the staff for food. A good example would be bread. You could see the loaf of bread sitting behind the tables but until you asked for it the staff would not put it out and when you asked they would make you feel very guilty about it.
No wifi or tv in room. Wifi worked in lounge. Looked at 2 rooms: nonfunctioning tv in one; none in the other. For an expensive hotel this was disappointing. But on the other hand who goes here for tv or internet. Otherwise it was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful.
