We stayed at Hyatt House for one night upon arriving in Anchorage fairly late in the day. Check-in was quick and our king suite room was spacious although generic and rather cheaply constructed. The bed was comfortable but there was so much traffic noise from our street side view it was difficult to get to sleep until quite late. The breakfast had fairly standard offerings, nothing special. Although common in Anchorage, the cost for the night was high for the value it represented.

My daughter (21) and I stayed here one night this week. I do not have any complaints about it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were checking in around 10:30 pm after a train ride from Seward to Anchorage and a Lyft ride. I did call them that afternoon to tell them. They have a little grocery area if you need anything. Buffet breakfast was very nice and included! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice too. We appreciated the noon check out and the free shuttle to the airport. No complaints, would definitely recommend! My only advice would be to ask for a room not on the parking lot side, the sea gulls at the swampy area must have been having a sea gull conference.

My family used the Hyatt House as a base hotel from which we took side trips out to Kenai, Valdez and Denali before returning to Anchorage for our return flight. The room was very comfortable and clean, the lobby is welcoming, breakfast was fresh and plentiful (if a little repetitive), and the pool and fitness center are both better than expected. The front desk held bags for us at needed without difficulty. Parking was free and easy to get a spot, and the location is close to the airport and the Seward Highway. I would highly recommend the Hyatt for anyone visiting Anchorage.

We spent a number of days in Alaska and had an amazing time. After our camper van rental return, we ned to rent a room doe our last night in Anchorage prior to our flight the next day. We made it to this hotel - they had one room available - for 600+ dollars for less than a 24 hour stay. I was astonished y the excess room rate. We literally spent 3400 for two weeks of a luxury sprinter van - and this crapy standard room with a broken bathroom door and ADA chair in the shower was $600!! Its insane and price gouging.

This is a great hotel. Proximity to the airport is excellent and offers shuttle service. The hotel is extremely modern and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning is first rate. There is a bird reserve right out in front where you can be entertained by the nesting seagulls and other birds. If you are fortunate enough to get a room facing the airport and are an aviation fan, you can watch the 747s takeoff in the morning, a rare treat these days. I highly recommend this hotel and if I were to find myself in Anchorage again, I would be staying there.

The staff was awesome (Marlene, Lottie, & Taylor). The hotel was clean, the lobby was welcoming, & the bar/food was amazing. The breakfast was one of the BEST that I have had in any hotel...such a variety of food & drinks. The H Bar staff, food, & drinks were phenomenal. I would highly recommend Hyatt House to anyone visiting Achorage.

Enjoying the friendly staff and the quick, pleasant check-in really set a positive tone for the stay. Everything moved smoothly from the moment I arrived, and the staff’s welcoming attitude made the process feel easy and stress-free rather than routine.

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt House Anchorage in Room #402, a one-bedroom suite with two queen beds. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and perfect for our trip.

What really made this stay exceptional was the outstanding customer service. Marlene was amazing from the moment we checked in and continued to provide excellent service throughout our stay. I needed help printing some important travel documents, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help turned what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth experience.

I'd also like to recognize TJ and Tia at the front desk. They were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to assist whenever we had questions. Dragon was equally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home every time we saw him.

The entire team made us feel like valued guests, and their hospitality truly stood out. We would definitely stay at Hyatt House Anchorage again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Anchorage.

Perfect across the board. One of the most pleasant stays I’ve had in recent memory. Hotel was perfect for my extended stay but the staff was the true star of the show.
