There is a hot bath, but only for men. There is a welcome drink automat. Staff is nice. Internet works well, there is a vending machine in the lobby. It is easy walking distance from the station with the price including breakfast. I think it is good deal for the price.
I was pretty satisfied with everything. I think female hot bath availability would improve the service, but that's probably only implementable with setting up a rotation. I speak Japanese, so I had no trouble at all, but if it is your first time in Japan you should hedge your bets, and download the Japanese package for Google Translate for using the self-service stuff even if you don't have internet access.
It's good they offer free massage chairs, free drinks machine, and the library downstairs is free to be used for leisure and free time. They also offer free hygiene items at the reception and fans. Clean towels and a bottle of water are provided every day, the staff is friendly.
My window wouldn't open at all, you cannot ventilate the place. The staff couldn't help me with turning on the air conditioning. The bathroom is incredibly small, but hot water works fine. The bed sheets have stains, the rooms are old and don't smell so nice. Nevertheless, I guess it was ok for the price we payed.
