Felt mostly like a motel.
Pros:

The location is fantastic, not on Hamra main road but still feels like you're just there. The building is situated in an tiny and narrow alleyway, about 5-6m wide, so cars barely travel there. The staff were incredibly nice and courteous. The bed and mattress were very comfortable. And the room was spacious.

Cons:

1- the pub downstairs (attached to the hotel) is loud AF and turn off their music around 1.30am. to be fair, it was a weekend, and the music is really nice, but immediately becomes a nightmare when you just need to work or sleep. The bass makes the entire building shake.
2- the bathroom fixtures were old and rusty (check photos)
3- the towels didn't feel fresh at all, both texture and smell were below average.
4- I arrived with 3 bags and a coat and I stood there waiting for checking and for someone to assist, no one offered and I ended up carrying my own bags upstairs.

Если хотите жить в районе улицы Hamra, то это очень хороший вариант
Pros:

1. Отличный отель, если вы хотите жить на улице Hamra, очень популярном районе Бейрута. Это очень аутентичный район города, со своим ритмом и атмосферой. До набережной можно дойти пешком за 15 минут, до даунтауна доехать за 10 минут на такси.
2. Отличный и очень приветливый персонал, который идёт навстречу всем просьбам.
3. В номере было очень тепло, кондиционер отлично нагревал воздух.
4. Очень вкусный "ливанский завтрак".
5. Рядом огромное количество мест со вкусной едой и баров, чтобы провести время вечером.

Cons:

1. В номере за 4 дня ни разу не убирали мусор. Возможно, об этом стоило специально попросить, но меня это не напрягало, так как мусора почти не было.
2. На первом этаже отеля большой и очень тусовочный бар. Если вы не можете засыпать при большом шуме, у вас могут быть сложности. Но тогда вам лучше вообще выбрать другой район для проживания, так как Hamra не самое тихое место в Бейруте ))
3. Не смог разобраться, как работает ТВ )

Pros:

I had a great stay at Caramel Boutique Hotel in Hamra. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location.
Special thanks to Mostapha, the receptionist — he was very kind, professional, and always ready to help. He really made my stay enjoyable.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beirut!

Cons:

There are a few things that need maintenance, such as the balcony lighting, the bathroom door not closing properly, the bathroom fan being noisy, an unpleasant smell in the sink area, and the water not being hot enough, although it was somewhat acceptable

Pros:

A recepção, colaboradores prestáveis e simpáticos. O quarto grande e uma boa cama. A varanda agradável para fumar. A comida do hotel é muito boa, o serviço também, eficiente. A área interior do bar e a esplanada são muito agradáveis. Os proprietários também são pessoas muito simpáticas.
