Staff were amazing and so friendly and 24 hr reception
The outside of hotel look off putting.
How close it was to the train station, shops. Receptionist on the evening shift was so friendly and lovely to deal with it's just a pity that the girl had to run the whole hotel on her own. Running from bar to desk to dealing with unexpected issues
The room could have done with a kettle and toiletries.. there was a lot of dust on the radiator in the bathroom. The window was filthy, so we had to ask for a toilet roll after we checked in there were no extra rolls left and was only a small bit left on the roll hanging up.. no fresh towels for the following day

The location
The room was very cold. Also no tea making facilites, apprently you have to pay extra. Seems not a very good idea
Only one pillow per person too, very poor

Large cobweb in top right hand corner of room. Showe grouting dirty and no shower gel. No kettle, tea, coffee or biscuits. Hotel decor shabby and in need of updating. Bed very uncomfortable with spring sticking in back. No phone to ring reception. Didnt stay for booked 2 nights. Left after one night. Photos on website not reflective of room booked. Walls thin and could hear next door.
Not a great deal.
There was a drug deal going on outside as we arrived, the room was extremely basic and not that clean. No remote for the tele, when we asked we got one that didn't work anyway. You pay extra for tea and coffee making facilities. The pillows were so flat, just one each. Could hear everything going on around us in other rooms. For one night manageable, no way I'd stay longer.
The cleaniness
The hotel was very cold the bed was on the slant and had to sleep with head on bottom of the bed
Horrible. We stayed there for hardly 15 minutes. There was damp smell everywhere in the room, with mold marks on the duvet. I have a lot of allergies and excema problems, staying there for my anniversary would have caused more problems for me. There were used toiletries in the toilet and the smell itself felt so unpleasant. I booked this hotel coz of the nice facilities provided and the cozy environment as shown on the page. But didn’t get to even unpacking coz it felt so unclean. We booked it for two days and wasn’t aware it was non refundable. Caused a lot of money trouble for me and my bf. Would recommend at all.

The Mount rooms provided basic comfortable accommodation and we were able to park on the road nearby.
