Staff were lovely!
The room we had, had the worst damp smell and bed was very uncomfortable, stairs leading up to it was ready to snapped at any point and the bath couldn’t even drain properly, felt very cheap.

All fine until you get to the bedrooms. We had the worst sleep of our lives. Everything in desperate need of an upgrade - mattresses painful to sleep on, pillows so thin and uncomfortable, black mould in the bathroom with a hot tap that was about 80 degrees and no warning sign, way too hot. We came in the heatwave and thankfully brought our own fan otherwise I don’t know how we’d have managed any sleep. The hotel had no fans. Couldn’t wait to leave. We’re currently staying in a 3* in Cardiff (same rating as the mount rooms) and it is exceptional in comparison
