We had a great stay here in the Tolu room. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with everything we needed. They served wonderful breakfast each day with fresh fruit and coffee/tea/juice. It is in a great location as well. Close to many shops and restaurants. The street it is on is also quiet. If I were to ever come back to CDMX, I would book here again in a heartbeat.
Positive
This B&B is well situated for Chapultepec attractions. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. The shower is excellent. The bed was comfy. There is also a nice roof terrace to chill out.
Negative
The room was too small for the price. There was no room for luggage. The wifi did not work at all in the room. It only worked in the lobby area. It can be noisy at night time with other guests coming and going.

The staff was very helpful and attentive.
The B&B was in a great location, close to many amenities and great restaurants.
The hotel was decorated beautifully with mexican art, the bed was very comfortable. The room was small but it had everything that we needed.
Breakfast was lovely.
Our master suite was charming and comfy, with a good-sized bathroom. The staff was wonderful, with special shout-outs to Elvia who made us feel at home right away, Aida who gave us breakfast, and Gerardo who helped with luggage and put together bags of takeaway snacks for us when we had to leave for the airport too early for the hotel's breakfast. All were so kind. The location was perfect--walking distance from Bosque de Chapultepec and its museums and zoo, so many good restaurants (with vegetarian options too), and Parque Espana and Parque Mexico and the surrounding neighborhoods, beautiful and with lush plants and trees. My daughter and I slept well after full days of exploring. I'm so glad I chose Palomilla!
Lovely spot tucked in an alley off a quiet neighborhood street, yet walkable - or short Uber ride - to many sites, restaurants, etc. Wonderful breakfasts prepared by friendly, accommodating house staff. Host/manager is responsive to needs and requests.
Stil! En zeer goede matras. Bed perfect voor 1 persoon. Voor 2 zou het wel veel te klein zijn. Badkamertje zeer klein, maar modern en perfect in orde. Aangename zeep ter beschikking. Keukenpersoneel was supervriendelijk.
Everything! The staff is the best
Nothing. Everything was wonderful
The friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and great location made for a easy and relaxing first trip to Mexico City!
We stayed one night at La Palomilla, and the staff were so kind to us! Check-in is friendly and easy. You are given a fob for the front door and a key to your room. There is a small reception desk and a long dining table where guests can eat a communal breakfast and chat with each other - swapping tips on where to visit. There are also two individual tables to eat at if you are not chatty in the morning. I have friends who would really need this! And there is a sofa area where you can sit and hang out too. You can access the kitchen where breakfast is prepared and put your drinks or food in the fridge, which is a nice touch. There is also a fabulous roof terrace where you can have your morning coffee, or bring take-out for lunch or dinner and eat al fresco. The decor throughout is charming, modern Mexican. Really tasteful, cute and perfect for photos. It's selfie Insta heaven. Our room was well-equipped and clean, with a lovely welcome note from the staff. We had a double bed, complimentary robes, a safe, a desk, and a heater, although we didn't need it. The mattress was comfortable, and our bathroom was modern and clean. All of this is great, but staff are the people who make or break a hotel, and the staff at La Palomilla are lovely. Helpful, kind, not intrusive, but always willing to help. They let us leave our luggage on site before check -in and after check-out, which we really appreciated because nobody wants to lug suitcases around Mexico City when they are on a layover. We are super happy we stayed here, the price was fair, and we would recommend it to friends.
Amazing breakfast. Very attentive staff and cooks. Perfect location.
Wifi was intermittent.
La Palomilla is a very sweet, clean and small B&B. The staff could not have been nicer and the full breakfasts were amazing. Room and common areas were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when visiting Mexico City.
The room was a bit on the small side. I will see if there’s a bigger room available when I return on a visit.
If you care about your footprint while traveling, La Palomilla is the place to stay. I was so impressed by their commitment to sustainability - from the eco-friendly toiletries and water refill stations to the beautiful upcycled decor. It’s rare to find a boutique stay that feels this authentic and responsible. They truly treat you like family (the name "Palomilla" means a close group of friends, and it shows!). A 5-star experience for both the soul and the planet.
Located in the trendy neighborhood of Roma norte. The location is as good as it gets! Finding accommodation options in the area is quite easy, what is not so easy is finding accommodation alternatives that are owned by locals, that have good practices, and that truly make an effort to provide a great service and unique experience! I visit CDMX very often and now I know where I will stay.
Very professional and dependable in everything they do!
The experiences derived from them are authentic and memorable.
Keep it up please
The people were incredibly kind
Nothing
Lovely little guest house run by a small friendly team. Spotless comfortable bedroom and bathroom, roof terrace, delicious breakfasts, safe area, near a Metro, very quiet at night so we had a great nights sleep every time! Would recommend!
My stay (3 nights) at La Palomilla was wonderful. From my welcome to the breakfast to my room, everything was excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooftop terrace is a great place in which to relax. The location is on a quiet street in the residential Condesa neighborhood; several nice coffee shops and restaurants are within a few blocks. Chapultepec Park, which has several museums and the zoo, is a 10-minute walk.
Note: If you are looking for a late-night, partying neighborhood with clubs and bars, this is not the place for you!
