The Inn was well decorated and clean! The breakfast was delicious and different every morning. We felt very safe, and the neighborhood was beautiful, very close to many things, including Bosque de Chapultepec, Roma Norte, and many more areas. There was a fan provided in the room and windows to open, which helped keep the room nice and cool at night. We were able to leave our bags when we arrived early and were offered to leave them after check out if needed. They also provided umbrellas, which came in handy during the rainy evenings.
The room was a little small and it can be nosy in the morning, wear the earplugs provided!
We had a wonderful stay at La Palomilla for a full week. The location was ideal for exploring many of the city's top attractions. Each room has a theme and highlights Mexican art or culture. La Palomilla is very clean and attractively appointed. The breakfast was delicious each morning and they happily accommodated food allergies and preferences. Freshly squeezed juice and homemade cookies greeted us after each long day of touring around the city. The staff is very warm and friendly and willing to help to you in any way that they can.
The best place to stay if you come to Mexico City! The staff are AMAZING and so KIND!! The room is spacious and so cute! Loved all the windows and lighting. Just really enjoyed everything about my stay here. Also, the breakfast is so yummy each morning. Can’t recommend this place enough. So many good restaurants and coffee shops walking distance from here, which is so convenient. The neighborhood is very cute as well. Thank you to everyone at La Palomilla for making our stay unforgettable.
I wish I could give them 10 stars. We spent an amazing week in Mexico City, and did so many incredible things, yet the best decision we made for the entire trip was staying at La Palomilla. From some of the best breakfasts you’ve ever had, to the cozy and adorable accommodations, to the top notch staff everything had thought and love put into it. We can’t wait to visit again.
Pro tip: take them up on some of the offered classes. We took their salsa and tortilla making class and can’t wait to show off what we learned back home.
スタッフは皆親切で心地よく過ごせました。部屋の装飾や朝食も素晴らしかったです。
建物自体は古いですが、よく掃除されているため、特に気になりません。
La Palomilla is in a great location in Roma Norte. They provide a nice breakfast each morning. The rooms are tastefully appointed.
My room was very small. So small I had nowhere to move around and nowhere to sit.
La Palomilla exceeded all of our expectations! We sincerely enjoyed our stay here, they were our home away from home. The breakfast was delicious every time, especially their chilaquiles! 😋 Everyone was so nice, thank you La Palomilla!
We had an outstanding stay at this hotel in Mexico City's Condesa neighborhood! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.
Every morning, we enjoyed the delicious complimentary breakfast, which offered a great variety of fresh options for everyone.
The hotel was spotless throughout our entire stay. Our room and all the common areas were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Even though the hotel is located in one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods, it was surprisingly quiet. The noise levels were almost nonexistent, allowing us to relax and get a great night's sleep every evening.
The location couldn't have been better. Condesa is full of amazing restaurants, cafés, parks, and shops, all within easy walking distance. It was the perfect home base for exploring Mexico City while still feeling safe, comfortable, and peaceful. The hotel's pricing was also very reasonable, especially given the exceptional service, prime location, and overall quality.
What truly made this hotel stand out was the staff. Every employee we encountered—from the front desk team and housekeeping to the kitchen staff—was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. They genuinely made us feel like part of the family.
Our stay during the World Cup (Game 1) made the experience even more memorable. There were several nights that we'd go to the small but nice rooftop, bring some tequila, beers, and talk about the games and events of the day, super chill.
Thank you to everyone for making our visit to Mexico City so memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights recently during our first visit to Mexico City. Service is very warm and welcoming. The hotel is pleasant and comfortable. Daily breakfast included at the communal table was delicious each day and gave us a chance to chat with fellow travelers. The location was perfect for getting about on foot which we prefer but of course it’s also very convenient for Uber or taxi pickup. There are several nearby parks and museums and restaurants, and subway access is not far. The location is peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the rooftop terrace in the evenings. The staff even surprised me with a special birthday pastry and sang to me on our last morning. I think this is my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in and we enjoyed exploring the city for the first time as well. Can’t wait to return!
La Palomilla was a wonderful stay in Mexico City. Elvia, Gaby, and Roberto were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were very clean, home cooked breakfast every morning was a treat, and the afternoon agua frescas and cookies were always tasty. We never left hungry! This place is a gem in a great area of Condesa.
The staff was very helpful. When I needed to take a bus to a concert venue on the other side of town, they explained how to do it and even lent me a transit card. It’s easy to get Ubers right near La Palomilla. The room had a binder with useful recommendations on what to do on Mondays when most of the museums are closed— so we took their advice and discovered the free “Museo Vivo del Muralismo” where we
discovered dozens of amazing murals by Diego Rivera. This hotel used to be a mansion that was converted into a Bed and Breakfast and each room is uniquely styled with cute Mexican decor—our room was the “Lucha Libre” room. They can arrange for massages in your room— we took advantage of that and thoroughly enjoyed our massages. The breakfasts were outstanding and included freshly squeezed juices, homemade jams, pastries and Mexican breakfast specialties. When I craved a little more protein for breakfast, they even gave me made-to-order eggs.
Lovely hotel! Was decorated very nicely, the staff was so wonderful and breakfast every morning was delicious.
Perfect location, lovely staff. Rooms are nice and tidy. They were very accommodating with dietary restrictions for the breakfast.
Located in Roma Norte, just a block from Condesa, La Palomilla is a small family-run establishment with seven guest rooms on a quiet residential street. The location provides easy access to both neighborhoods while remaining removed from much of the traffic and noise.
The rooms are on the small side, with limited storage for personal belongings. There are a few open shelves and a small rack for hanging clothes. There is also a long shelf above the bed, which came in handy. The king bed was firm but comfortable. The room also had a desk and chair.
The bathroom was average in size, with a good-sized shower, good water pressure, and reliable hot water. However, the water temperature was touchy and needed to be adjusted continuously to maintain a consistent temperature.
The Wi-Fi worked well in the downstairs common area but not in our room. There was supposed to be a separate login for the guest rooms, but I never saw it listed among the available networks. The room did have plenty of outlets for charging electronics.
This is a homey place with friendly service. They offer juice and cookies in the afternoon. Breakfast is a full meal, starting with fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola, followed by a main plate that changes daily. During our stay they served chalupas with pork, huevos al albañil, and vegetable enchiladas. If the main dish does not appeal to you, they can usually offer something more to your taste. Everything we tried was well prepared and tasty.
small room with limited storage. Not good Wifi in the rooms.
The location is perfect, right at the boarder of Condesa and Roma Norte. Safe and walkable.
Great location, attentive staff and yummy breakfast. We really loved our stay!
King size bed was king size width, but not king size length .
This is such a cute hotel in a great location! Delicious breakfasts, a lovely rooftop terrace, and unique, clean rooms. Highly recommend!
I think I found this place through a travel blog and I'm glad I did! The location was great and everyone was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was made fresh every day and it was absolutely delicious. I was in the Emo room which has a bathroom in the hall, but it wasn't an issue for me at all and I stayed for a week. It's right across the hall and locked the whole time. I was traveling solo and the place was clean, quiet, and had great decor. I really appreciated the staff who were there during my stay: Aida, Elvia, Gaby, Eduardo, and Gerardo. They were fantastic.
