Wow! was my first impression and remained so throughout my stay. Just... Wow!
Pros:

Wow! Was my first impression and I left with the same as Mansfield Castle was top class in every department and beautiful. The place is just dripping with character and the staff are most welcoming. The food was also excellent and so I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros:

The quiet location in urban environment. Interesting building . Size of room , it was huge! Lovely views.

Faded luxury, really needs a revamp . Tired and dated. Bit spooky!

Mums buvo tinkama vieta. Malonūs darbuotojai registratūroje.Graži pilaitė, iš kurios galima padaryti perliuką. Tik...reikia daryti ;)

Pasijautėme , kaip atvažiavę pas promočiutę. Pilaitės viduje-sustojęs laikas. Jei bendros erdvės dar pusiau su bėda, tai koridoriai ir kambariai labai vargani. Vonia įskilusi, vonios ventiliatorius nevalytas, turbūt, nuo jo įdėjimo. Rankšluosčių džiovintuvas yra, bet jis išjungtas. Vonios kambaryje šalta ir drėgna. Kambarys tamsus, karnizas ir užuolaidos panašu, kad būtų pirktos sendaikčių parduotuvėje. Trumpai tariant,- vieta, iš kurios norisi kuo greičiau dingti.

Meget hyggeligt hotel med flinkt og hjælpsomt personale, men hotellet er slidt.
Pros:

Morgemaden var OK og kun continental,- ingen varme retter. Beliggenheden fin og der var flere hyggelige fællesrum.

Cons:

Hotellet er meget hyggelight men slidt og trænger til en istandsættelse. Sengene dårlige med gammeldags fjedre. Aftensmad kunne ikke altid købes og restauranten var lukket uden varsel en enkelt dag.

Very enjoyable and memorable stay
Pros:

Very memorable place and stay for one night.
Received a very warm welcome
Loved the building and it’s history
Had some dog friendly rooms and bar area also allowed dogs.
Catered for our vegan daughter when we rang that morning to request meals
all enjoyed our evening meal
and the continental breakfast had a very good choice that included a variety of cold cooked meats.
After reading the mixed reviews all I can say it exceeded our expectations and was a stand out place to stay for us in our much enjoyed 2 week trip around the highlands.

Cons:

Bit Gutted the first room given hadn’t been cleaned so we had to be moved as cleaning staff had left by then.
This room the then Norwegian King had stayed in was a stunning wow room however the Rose room next given was
also very nice.

A good time, maching expectatios
Pros:

Breakfast was as expected. A cooked option would have been nice. The coffee from the machine was really nice.

Cons:

Minor issue could leave a more professional impression, such as staff uniform, no bare belly's.
That said the young staff were lovely and friendly.
