Great character very quiet. Easy parking
A bit dated. Furnishings etc need replacing. Windows in poor state
The service was brilliant - everyone was friendly and helpful. Dinner was delicious and the whole atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable - we were given a choice of where to eat in the hotel. The room was lovely and we would love to stay again.
Nothing
Hatten es noch am selben Tag gebucht und waren Froh überhaupt ein Zimmer zu finden.
In einem 150 Jahre alten Schloss zu übernachten war sehr Spannend.
Das Frühstück war semi. Gut. Die Backwaren waren eher Kalt und Weich. Der Kaffee könnte auch besser sein.
Das Badezimmer war sehr rustchig bzw ölig.
Very helpful, good sized bedroom & comfortable
Lovely breakfast
N/A
Restaurant wasn't open the day I arrived. They charge 15 pounds for a mediocre continental breakfast with no hot food.
Although a little dated the hotel was very well looked after and exceptionally clean. The location was great, a short walk to town. Ample parking, nice grounds, impressive building and lovely traditional communal areas.
The room was a little bit dated, but very clean and spacious with a large bed and everything we needed. Towels were lovely and fluffy, appreciated the heated towel rail. Shower had good pressure and hot water.
Nice view of trees outside.
We had breakfast at the sister hotel which was great.
We had a great stay, rooms could be more luxury with a few additions.
Lovely old world charm, spacious, convenient location. Breakfast included
Beautiful building, close to centre of Tain. Loved the 3 legged cat!
A little run down.
The room was very grand with plenty of vintage furniture. The views were amazing and the ensuite was fantastic.
Some of the facilities were a bit out dated. The bed although clearly vintage could do with its screws tightening or replacing. Didnt like the fact we were given kitchen timings for meals and when it came to breakfast there was only a continental option which considering what we paid for the stay felt unjust. We ended up going into town and getting a cooked breakfast for extra expense.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room comfortable and we enjoyed the lounge and restaurant very much. We had a very nice stay.
Die Lage und der Anblick von außen.
Total runtergekommenes Hotel.
Loved the location and staff, very helpful and attentive. They even stayed late so we could eat
Poor breakfast for cost of room. Poor value for money
Le château
Chambre datant des années 80
very good breakfasts, great view from the bedroom and dinning room, dramatic location close to Stirling
