Breakfast options were varied and good. Pub atmosphere downstairs and restaurant atmosphere in adjoining room both enjoyable
cooked breakfast food was good but no yogurt of fresh fruit option, only packets of cereal.

The location was excellent, staff were very polite, helpful and smiling. Room was a decent size and the shower was good. Breakfast was good and served at reasonable times with local produce. In the night it serves as the local Indian restaurant and the smells were lovely. Due to the weather, there was a fan supplied which was a nice touch.
Only one drawback was the room was above the kitchen area and could get noisy early mornings.
What a great little hotel. We stayed here for a couple of nights. It’s in a great location, car parks 5 minutes walk away, the larger being free except for Tuesdays, market day. Staff are very friendly, breakfast is good and the smell of curry was lovely. The room was a decent size but had no fridge. Our only drawback was the room was above the kitchen area so could get noisy early morning and, due to the weather we left the windows open. Would we go back? Yes, definitely
Chose this hotel at short notice within my Cycle tour of Wales. Central location. Friendly welcome by Babu whom I understand multi-tasked as Chef. I was pleased with the safe, overnight lock provided up for my bike. Spacious bar and restaurant. Really enjoyed dinner and breakfast with particular thanks to Jay who was particularly engaging and helpful right up to my departure.
Good atmosphere watching the football in the bar and have to say the bars earlier play list was about as good as it gets for me.

Thé staff were wonderful ,the location ideal and it had great character.
Breakfast was fantastic ,worthy of a restaurant.
Bike storage was also hugely valuable to us .
Nothing really .
I loved the central location, the staff who were fab; the food in the restaurant, both evening and breakfast was delicious 🙏
It was a bit tired in the public bar and the stairs up to the room were a tad uneven but it's clearly an old property so expected... I had to concentrate coming down the last few wooden ones.
Superb staff who could not do enough for us over a very very hot weekend. Including purchasing a second fan for our room. Excellent location in the centre of town.
Just to be aware that there are many stairs to access some of the bedrooms and there is no lift.
Also if you require an alternative to dairy you must let the hotel know before arrival as this is not provided as per norm.
However the above are minor and the attitude of all of the staff far outweigh any negatives.
Central and free parking close by
Location , food was good
