Wonderful
Pros:

I came for the Madi-Gras parade and everything was great.

The View Of The Gulf Of America, The Breakfast Was Amazing, Didn’t Really Watch TV Had To Use Your Own Subscriptions. Overall We Enjoyed Our Vacation/Honeymoon!

Great Visit
Pros:

The location was very good. You can walk right out the back door to the beach. The room was comfortable, with a sitting area and bed area. The breakfast was very good; lots of options and variety each day.

Cons:

This was a handicapped room with a roll-in shower. The shower was poorly designed so that not only did the water run out of the shower area, but it ran onto the bathroom floor which had a drain. However, the water ran around the drain, out into the bathroom floor and under the door of the bathroom. We had to create a dam around the drain with towels to contain it and then ask for extra towels. While this was an inconvenience, it didn't really affect our stay.

Great stay despite parking fees
Pros:

Everything was picture perfect here.

Cons:

I was quite upset that we were charged $25 (per night!)for parking in the hotel parking lot. Obsurd and kinda on the greedy side IMO.

The staff were all great. Very freindly, kind, courteous and helpful.

Cons:

Didn't like or understand paying $25 extra per night for parking in a half empty parking lot as a paying guest of the hotel. Seemed a bit gouging and unnecessary.

Pros:

WiFi is poor , we had to call for it like 2-3 times still no help all they said they will reset but still didn’t work it .
May have to also pay for parking it’s not free .

They are a lot of hidden expenses they will charge you and make you pay for .

Cons:

WiFi .
Pay for parking even if you stay there . Which were some expenses they try to hide .

Neighbour are too loud . It’s not sound proof .

Cons:

Even though I paid in full through Booking.com, they charged $385 to my credit card. When I call the number listed on their receipt and website, it says the number is not in service. Not sure how to get it refunded.

Lacks quality and luster that it use to have.

I liked the location, the facilities and the breakfast.

Cons:

Our room had a Musty/mildew smell in it. It was over bearing. The couch had blood on it. Sand was all over the floor and the head board has blood on it also. House keeping skipped over cleaning our room. We went to the front desk 3 times to get the issue resolved. This hotel does not have the same quality that it once had. It’s quality and luster has diminished, and the price tag has increased for poor service and sub par hotel room.

Location and connivence sold the stay
Pros:

Location and the connivence of onsite restaurants, bar, ice cream.

Cons:

Mold in fridge and bathroom, crib was filthy/broken (had to request 2 cause the sides wouldn’t lock), staff would ignore the phones when I was standing right by them, elevators were slow, carts were hard to get.

Not again.

Nothing special done by any staff for sure. Problems with TV. Neighbor left their dog in room and it barked and whined for over an hour during the night. Definitely not the place for a romantic birthday getaway 😒
