The Sanya EDITION

Thank you for our amazing stay at The Sanya Edition. Together with my partner we brought my parents to Hainan to show them around and decided to stay at your lovely property. The service is next level, the food at Barbacoa so authentically Balinese, the drinks and snacks at the Beach Club original and up to par, and all facilities you would wish for are available. I saw some amazing signs of true leadership from the management as well. Shout outs to Julie as our personal butler, 魏金恒 as our beach club bartender and Jordi as a true international hospitality leader. Thank you, and we hope to be back soon again.

The Sanya Edition was such a beautiful hotel! From the moment I arrived, everyone was welcoming and nice. Julie was amazing with answering my questions whenever I needed and making reservations for me. She was available at anytime. The location is nice but a bit far from the airport but once you get there, it’s heaven. Rooms were beautiful, everything is clean, and worth every penny. I love that the hotel catered to everyone like there is a family area and pool and an adult only area that was perfect for me since I was traveling solo. Thanks to Wisdom at the Beach Club and Shawon at Barbacoa. Oh and the spa area had a very relaxing sauna and stream room if you just wanted to get away from it all. I would recommend to everyonez

We had a fantastic stay at The Sanya EDITION in a beautiful suite. A special thank you to Julie, our Guest Relations Manager, for checking in throughout our entire stay and making sure everything was perfect.

She also kindly arranged a wonderful birthday surprise for my cousin, which made the celebration extra special. The cakes and coconut pudding were absolutely delicious!

Exceptional service, thoughtful touches, and a truly memorable stay. We’d happily return!

From the arrival to the mega open lobby that is looking to the ocean framed by bamboo, it was hard not to be blown away.

In our 5 night stay we didn’t leave given the abundance of options and luxurious spaces to relax and dine.

The Beach Club is for adults only and it was the perfect space to enjoy the glorious weather with attentive and genuine service from Wisdom, Hunter and the entire team!

Chef Boga at Barbacao has done a phenomenal job creating a Balinese menu which is complimented by a live band, feet in the sand, exotic dining experience. He is also a really nice guy!

We spent an excellent vacation at the Sanya EDITION, the hotel is very beautiful and spacious, and the staff, especially Julie who was exceptional and did everything to accommodate us and make us feel at home, and Hassen who made us want to come back to the beach club everyday! We stayed 10 nights at Sanya Edition during our honeymoon.
It was a very nice experience. The staffs were highly professional.
There are many sport possibilities, pingpong, tennis, padel, pickleball, and various water sports. The beverages and the food are overall excellent. During the stay all our needs were fulfilled to our maximum satisfaction.

We had an amazing stay at the Edition with our family. We love great hotels and we weren’t familiar with the brand but will definitely try other ones. The food, the smell, music and other important details that are often looked over were on point here. Genuine service with a special note to the Butler Julie and Jordi who is a manager. These people know what they are doing don’t hesitate but go!

Our stay at The Sanya EDITION was truly memorable, elevated significantly by the world-class service provided by the Guest Relations team.
A particular highlight was the outstanding hospitality demonstrated by Olivia. While spending an afternoon by the main pool, I realized I had forgotten to bring my reading book down from my room. Olivia noticed my situation and graciously offered to fetch it from my room on my behalf so I could continue relaxing uninterrupted.
Her genuine kindness, proactive approach, and high level of professionalism throughout our stay left a lasting impression. Olivia’s attentive care is a stellar reflection of the standards at The Sanya EDITION. I highly recommend this property and extend my sincere thanks to Olivia for making our visit so seamless and special.

I visit the Edition every year; it feels like coming home. The hotel changes every year, showing the dedication of the management. As a large international hotel, the employment of expatriate staff is very welcoming to international travelers (and their Chinese is excellent!).

This time, I met a beautiful and understanding Ms. Julie, whom my daughter adores.With her help, Phoebe and I had a very warm and pleasant holiday.

This was our second visit to The Sanya Edition and once again we were truly grateful to Julie for making our stay a memorable and pleasant one. She was attentive, always willing to fulfil our requests and her recommendations were spot on making an experience at the hotel even more special. The property is absolutely stunning and all the restaurants are amazing with great food and friendly staff. We cannot wait to visit again soon!

Me and my wife went here for part of our honeymoon and it was even better than expected. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We have a wonderful host called Julie who made us feel even more welcome and she spoke perfect English so this was super helpful. She even prepared us special surprises because it was our honeymoon which was very sweet! Highly recommend!

Before arriving here, we spent time at the Rosewood, which was already an excellent experience. However, what made this stay even more special was the outstanding, truly personalized service we received from our butler, Julie.

A very special thank you to our wonderful French butler, Julie. She took care of every single detail with incredible professionalism, warmth, and genuine kindness. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and she always anticipated our needs before we even had to mention them. Her dedication made us feel incredibly welcome and transformed a great vacation into an unforgettable one. Julie, thank you from the bottom of our hearts—you are a true asset to this resort.

We also had the pleasure of playing a fun game of padel with the Manager, Jordi Villegas, his son, and my own son. It was such a relaxed and enjoyable experience that perfectly reflected the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the resort.

Although the resort is large, it never feels overwhelming. Everything is beautifully designed and has a cozy, intimate feeling. The facilities, the service, and the overall atmosphere are simply outstanding.

The location is fantastic as well. Sanya, on Hainan Island, really deserves its nickname as the “Hawaii of China.” It’s only about a one-hour flight from Hong Kong or Shenzhen, making it a perfect tropical getaway.

We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for luxury combined with genuine hospitality. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Julie, for making our stay so memorable!

Julie is an incredible concierge. She worked all hours of the day and made everything happen for us, quickly. So friendly. Great work. We need for Julie’s.

Markus runs one of the best fine dining food programs I’ve ever seen. I love food and being able to enjoy every single offering at a hotel is an incredible feat. He always made a point of coming to say hi and checking in on our experience. Hats off to this man and then some.

Honestly we were treated so well at this hotel. It raised my expectations for any five star hotelier and I’ve been to some incredible places.

We stayed at the Sanya Edition for a week in July. We had a great time. The hotel is vast and amazing with many different restaurants, pools and activities. Julie in particular was fantastic and really looked after us and our kids!

Our room is very spacious that has a jacuzzi at the balcony and not that much noise which made me easily fall asleep
Very clean every where, and the scent is very nice. I really like the smell.
I have to say a huge thanks to our butler Julie who has been taking very well care for us. Always ask what we need and tried to satisfy our request.
And their stuff is very thoughtful too, like they know I like coffee and dropped me more capsules and wrote me a note!
