Parking at the Jubilee Conference Center is free for residents although spaces are limited. Permits for alternative car parks are issued by reception for you to place on your dashboard. Please collect your car park permit prior to parking. Reception will also assist you with directions.

Pros:

Cons:

Wrong room, staff weren’t helpful at all, nothing in compensation for the inconvenience, door to the room didn’t lock properly which we weren’t aware of beforehand, paid for an upgrade got given there last room available instead and no refund, was supposed to have a bath, got given a disabled bathroom, not happy, would not recommend, wouldn’t be coming back here, especially not as a birthday present again…

Comfortable stay in new Conference style hotel in good location
Pros:

Modern ‘steel and glass’ hotel on a new Uni campus with the Spoke Cafe terrace overlooking manmade lake. Close to city but a quiet location.

Cons:

Poor EV charging facility with only the x2 7kw chargers for entire campus. The hotel offers Conference facilities which doesn’t compliment its use as such for those attending by EV’s.

Okay - just be prepared for big young groups
Pros:

Being able to get food, park for free and friendly staff.

Cons:

Very noisy. A group of young sports team running up and down the corridor shouting and screaming late at night and at 6am!!!

I really like the size of the hotel, lots of areas to sit and relax as well as the rooms being large

Cons:

No air con in the room which meant it was difficult to cool even with the windows open. Also my booking.com booking had been cancelled (an error on their side). Originally the person on the desk jist told me it was cancelled and that seemed to be that. However the manager was very polite and solved the issue quickly.

Mixed feelings
Pros:

Location. Comfortable room.

Cons:

There was confusion over whether parking charges applied. in the event we paid £6 a day to avoid the possibility of a fine.

We've stayed there twice before and on-site parking was free.

I do object to having to pay to park at an out-of-city-centre hotel.

The rooms are comfortable but looking a little tired.

Attractive location with interesting outside spaces. Very convenient for the University.
Pros:

very nice and modern environment. The outside spaces were well kept and pretty. Room was spacious and the outside space useful.

Cons:

Had to pay for parking which was a surprise. Water pressure in the shower was poor.
