old fashioned motel with spacious rooms and pretty landscaping.

It was an older motel. It reminded me of my childhood. The room was large. Someone clearly had spent time on the landscaping, lots of blooming bulbs and well cared for rose bushes. There was a separate fridge and freezer, larger than is usually the case as well as a nice TV, microwave and coffee machine. There was also a small patio with chairs and a table

Cons:

There was only one staff member on duty. When we arrived at 8 PM there was a sign on the door saying "back in 20 minutes". He was actually back in 7 minutes with his take out dinner. He was very pleasant and was still on duty (and still pleasant) when I checked out the next morning.

Torn lamp shades. Breakfast was a joke: no butter for toast, one kind of bread, no juice, no cream for coffee, four old croissants, link sauages but only hard boiled eggs.
