TownePlace Suites by Marriott Lakeland

Not sure why it’s a 3 star but compared to a nearby well known hotel, this one was much better. The hotel renovation was a plus! We were on the first floor. Hallways were clean, our room and Kitchenette were clean. The continental breakfast is what one would expect. Still satisfying especially the waffles. It is well equipped. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The guest laundry was excellent too! We are here to visit with our kids for Xmas and new year for a week. We would definitely stay here again. This hotel made our stay very comfortable.

Everything was great. They freshened my room every day. The breakfast was great with lots to chose. No smoke smell (especially weed) was detected during my three days stay.

After experiencing and witnessing just plain AWFUL Customer Service the previous night @ another Marriott property, it was absolutely amazing the treatment I received @ the TownPlace Suites,Lakeland, Fl! As a Titanium Member, I was allowed my 4PM late checkout, while @ the other property I had to fight and beg for a 1PM checkout.The young lady @ the Front Desk had a great personality and was very pleasant.I believe her name was SHENIECE!! The halls smelled fresh and the Suite was spotless! I travel a great deal and it’s always refreshing when you’re treated right away from home!🏠

Staff was very helpful and understanding. Room was available upon arrival. Comfortable bed. Very clean facility. Close to where I was planning to go visit family. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful check in with Liz and Sylvia . Had an upgrade to a King Suite with full stove for cooking on Thanksgiving. Cozy large fireplace, heated pool and chill out lounge to watch football with fellow business partners. Close to Hooters, Long Horn Steak and Walmart. Maintenance staff added a wifi node for large computer graphic work in my Suite. 5 g.

This hotel is my go too place the hospitality and staff always always are very friendly and helpful. The cleanest place to stay you truly be happy here!!! restaurants and shopping is near as well as a movie theater.

Great location, Tesla chargers on property, friendly staff. The rooms are very well designed and laid out with kitchen and a large workspace

Wasnt real fond of trying to get a work out done at 5pm after a long day of traveling only to have a maint crew in there working on replacing trim along the walls. So I could not get to the weight machine at all. Also, at breakfast.....the water jub was empty and wasnt not refilled until after breakfast was completed.

Hotel was very good, a little bit out of the way for us. Hard to get to Southeast University but made the best of it.

This is my property of choice in Lakeland. It's a great location. It's easy access to I-4 or US98. It's conveniently located next to a number of eateries and stores. Front desk staff is friendly and the rooms are nice.

Noise from I4 starts at 4am. Not many restaurants to walk to. Close to mall. Pool is small and not in sun until late afternoon. Not very friendly at check in or check out. I stayed 4 nights and would definitely find something cheaper.

No shops nearby. Longhorn and Hooters. The mall is fairly close, wouldn't recommend to walk there.
