Great price. No frills.
Pros:

The hotel was selected for a family reunion. It was a convenient location at a good price.

Cons:

There were no places for the family to congregate after hours. The lobby was small and utilitarian.

Management was inflexible with my friends refund . He was called out to Venezuela for the earthquake as a search and rescue team had to leave a day early and the propery refused to refund him a prepaid stay for one day

Great But Needs Some Tweaks.
Pros:

All the staff was very friendly and if there was a requested item needed to cook with in the room it was delivered promptly. Housekeeping was every other day to ensure a clean and comfortable stay. The bathroom is very spacious and well stocked with toiletries. The breakfast choices were very nice and there was something for every type of diet and taste.

Cons:

There could be more large utensils for cooking like a whisk, tongs, a silicon scrapper and serving spoons. The tap water in this location did not taste very good and I would suggest a Brita water filtration pitcher for each room. I would also suggest a blue scrubbing sponge be added to help to clean up the cooktop more thoroughly.

This is a 10 for us!
Pros:

Not sure why it’s a 3 star but compared to a nearby well known hotel, this one was much better. The hotel renovation was a plus! We were on the first floor. Hallways were clean, our room and Kitchenette were clean. The continental breakfast is what one would expect. Still satisfying especially the waffles. It is well equipped. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The guest laundry was excellent too! We are here to visit with our kids for Xmas and new year for a week. We would definitely stay here again. This hotel made our stay very comfortable.

After experiencing and witnessing just plain AWFUL Customer Service the previous night @ another Marriott property, it was absolutely amazing the treatment I received @ the TownPlace Suites,Lakeland, Fl! As a Titanium Member, I was allowed my 4PM late checkout, while @ the other property I had to fight and beg for a 1PM checkout.The young lady @ the Front Desk had a great personality and was very pleasant.I believe her name was SHENIECE!! The halls smelled fresh and the Suite was spotless! I travel a great deal and it’s always refreshing when you’re treated right away from home!🏠
Thank you SHENIECE, you made my evening, especially after the terrible experience @ the last property.
