Pros:

Proximity to grocery stores and subway stations.

Cons:

I have been requesting a price adjustment for three months now. There was no refrigerator in my room and I had to store my medication offsite. Management said they would contact me but their reply emails are simply to apologize and say my request is under review. I was given a case number but ai haven’t heard or seen progress. Apparently they don’t care that I was inconvenienced.

Great art, great waterfront, great diner, great neighbourhood, great location
Pros:

Long Island City is one stop from Manhattan and is itself a vibrant community close to Greenpoint and Astoria with its own sensational waterfront park with views of Manhattan. Plenty of good restaurants and one of the best diners anywhere in New York. Also PS1, the modern art extension of MOMA.
In terms of my room I was lucky to be given a handicapped room, by which I mean it was designed to accommodate wheelchair users and therefore spacious and comfortable.
Free coffee and tea in the room always goes a long way to make me happy, this room also had a refrigerator allowing for casual in-room eating which is always good news too.
Location is great for access to La Guardia and JFK airports.

Séjour agréable dans cet hôtel très bien situé , proche du métro .
La chambre est spacieuse avec une très belle douche . Elle est rafraichie chaque jour .
