adequate but not blown away
Pros:

The staff were attentive and friendly, working hard as there were not enough of them. Overall we would stay again if in the area, but would not come back to stay

Cons:

Bed mattress was very sunken and my wife has left with her back being aggravated and the shower was very poor indeed but rooms were spacious and it is very quiet, which was nice

Good base for River Wye area walking and canoeing along beautiful river. Good value for money!
Pros:

Breakfast good, pay at hotel. Staff all so welcoming & friendly. This hotel was reasonably priced & very good value for money. This is a great base for canoeing on the River Wye as canoe hire is next door!!!! Canoeing was brilliant!! Also it was close to Symonds Yat rock lovely views and walks & to visit Ross on Wye.

Squeaky beds
Pros:

Great location - walkable to Wye Adventures which is what we needed. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Beds were so squeaky they woke us up every time the other person moved so we both slept very poorly unfortunately. Would have been fine for a single person or very heavy sleepers. Expensive for what you get.

Great little hotel for exploring the area
Pros:

The hotel was a great location for visiting symonds yat. We had booked canoe the wye and the end point was next door. The hotel was clean, bed comfy and staff were so lovely. It wasnt a fancy hotel, but suited out needs brilliantly. We would stay again

Cons:

The plumbing, getting the water right for a shower was tricky but not impossible

God location.
Pros:

Room was decorated nicely and comfy for the night

Cons:

Breakfast was ok but a bit too greasy for me. Rug runners stuck over carpet which made it look tacky. Shower was hot but trickled out.
