Perfect weekend getaway!
Pros:

Brian at front desk set the tone for an absolutely flawless overnight stay!

Everything from the immaculate, well appointed suite, to the beautiful swimming pool and Tiki bar everything was perfect!

Absolutely no reason to drive all the way to South Beach when I can stay at the Avalon/Hollander Hotel in St. Petersburg!

Been coming for years…gets better every time! Keep up the great work, guys!

I will be back
Pros:

This a very trendy (hip) vibe hotel. The charm of the buildings age from 1930 spoke for itself. The room was comfortably set up with a king bed. Yes the bathroom is a bit small, but I wanted to spend my time in town sightseeing nit in my room. And after a long day I spent time on the open air front patio and relaxed and people watched. Great music playing. Parking my car was convenient in the private lot. I spent time at the Hollander hotel, bar, and restaurant next door having drinks and dinner, then went back to the Hollander in the morning and had a coffee drink and and apple cinnamon apple stuffed muffin.

Cons:

The only drawback I felt was in the morning. There was not a "breakfast" item to get. Coffee and tea were served, and there was a platter of cookies. I would have better enjoyed a granola bar or piece of fruit.

THE BEST
Pros:

The Avalon never disappoints. The property is amazing and so convenient to anything and everything you would need. The staff treats you like family. Will is the host with the most~ the love and attention he pays to his visitors and employees is so heartfelt and thoughtful. By far my favorite hotel and it makes the St Pete adventurous even that much more enjoyable. 💗

Hotel was adequate for my needs but pricey for the value.
Pros:

The staff was nice and friendly. The front desk accommodated me checking in an hour early. The place was a clean, intimate, boutique kind of hotel.

Cons:

With the wooden floor on the first floor, I could hear every person walking by. It was pretty loud. No refrigerator In the room. The entire room was really small and so was the bathroom, it was super small that the toilet was behind the bathroom door… pretty awkward.

Im Hotel gab es zwar kein Frühstück, aber in der näheren Umgebung gibt es genug Möglichkeiten. Die Lage ist super und das Personal nett.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer war ziemlich eng, aber ansonsten top.

Great stay in downtown St. Pete!
Pros:

The location is amazing and access to the neighboring hotel's pool (sister hotel) is nice a it has a lovely pool area and a nice bar/restaurant as well. The staff was very helpful and they had complimentary prosecco in the lobby for some hours in the evening which was great!

Cons:

The rooms are a bit dated in terms of the suites. It's not the furnishings themselves as they are new and stylish, but the baseboards, doors, tile and such in the bathroom. It all feels like it's on it's twelfth coat of paint.
