Great value hotel with interesting view of river and harbour
Pros:

Great location with wonderful views of the harbour area and river traffic. Balcony overlooking the harbour got sun until 6pm and we could watch the seals swimming in the harbour as well as all the goings on down below. Nice big fridge in the room and good heating for chilly evenings. Great having coffee/tea at reception as well as hot chocolate and refills for the coffee machine. Very comfortable beds and room was quiet although I had requested a room which was farthest from traffic noise as some of the hotel is close to the bridge. We walked to restaurants in the evening and there is a staircase from the front of the hotel down to the harbour (if you take the road there is no pavement for walking so safer to take the stairs). We enjoyed The Wharf which had great views of the sunset and good food.
Hotel was very clean and staff friendly. Seemed much better value than many of the hotels in the surrounding area.

Cons:

No instructions for the gas fire so didn’t bother putting it on. Instructions would be very helpful. Also some ants would appear occasionally in the sink area but they didn’t really bother us that much!

Nice views of the harbor
Pros:

Nice views of the harbor and a quiet location. They had no slip mats and detachable shower handles for those who need them which I found very thoughtful.

Cons:

It is an older property but nothing too dramatic in need of refresh.

We were in Ft. Bragg to share the time with family at their campground and at local establishments.
Pros:

The location was great! The view of the harbor made it excellent. The extra physical space made it better than the average motel/hotel room. The balcony was a plus. We were also close to the wharf, downtown and local markets.

Cons:

The parking was tough with our F150 pickup. We're very skilled and practiced at parking but, unfortunately, others are not so conscientious of their space. In fact, another driver decided to use two spaces to protect their vehicle making parking inaccessible for others. So rude!

Pros:

Requested to arrive a bit early, they let me check in way earlier and with an upgraded room. Dude at the front was awesome. Room was pretty clean and spacious, the view was nice. Will be back for sure.

Cons:

How loud room service was upstairs when I was napping.

Pros:

Very clean and comfortable and available exactly where I needed it after a long day of traveling on the road. The price was also very good. The room had a balcony with a view over the water.

Staff was friendly and rooms were very clean.

Cons:

We did not run the heater in our room and the balcony door faced the parking lot. As a result we had no air flow throughout our room. It became quite stuffy

Very poor internet which made tv viewing difficult. Housekeeping only on request. We had to go get things like towels and coffee.

Pros:
