Golden City Hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff. The breakfast was good with a decent variety, and the location made it easy to explore the city. A very pleasant stay overall, though a few minor updates to the rooms would make it even better.

The hotel is within walking distance of many facilities in Tirana.
The bedroom was a decent size. Bed was comfortable. The air con worked efficiently. There is no iron and ironing board in the room. You can ask Reception to provide an iron, but no ironing board. A fridge, kettle and safe are in the room. The hotel bar is available for hotel guests.

One sachet of coffee, 2 herbal teas and 1 bottle of water is provided in the room upon arrival, however these are not replaced. Housekeeping did not wash the used cups or used glasses on a daily basis.

The bathroom had a waterfall shower and water pressure was low. Shower gel and hand wash was provided.

Continental breakfast was pretty much the same each day. Fresh orange juice costs 3 Euros.

There is no lift in the hotel, however, staff helped with luggage.

The spa which is at the back of the hotel is a separate company, the spa facilities are great. You pay a fee to use sauna, steam room, jacuzzi. The massage service I received was excellent and a really good experience. There is no gym.

The best asset to the hotel is Oni (not sure how to spell his name) who works on Reception and does other duties in the hotel bar. He is excellent.

On the whole, I enjoyed my stay at Golden City Hotel Tirana.

I stayed at Golden City Hotel recently. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made check-in smooth and pleasant. However, the overall experience was let down by a few key issues. The breakfast selection was quite limited and disappointing, especially if you’re expecting variety. There was also no hot water during my stay, which was frustrating. The hotel itself is very small and may not suit those looking for a more spacious or comfortable setting. It’s fine for a short stay if you’re not too particular, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist kein Highlight, aber ausreichend und frisch. Insgesamt ein absolut gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen.

It’s rare to find such personal care, and Jon truly made my experience feel special.

The hotel itself is charming, well-maintained, and offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are cozy, modern, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. The location is also ideal—central enough to explore the vibrant culture of Tirana, yet tucked away in a quiet area, making for a relaxing stay.

I felt at home throughout my time at Hotel Golden City, and it’s a place I would absolutely stay at again. Das Hotel ist zentral und man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Einzelzimmer ist schon klein und eignet sich für kurze Aufenthalte.
Wasser, Zahnbürste und Hausschuhe gibt es kostenlos dazu, das fand ich sehr gut.

Just amazing the location is perfect and the service in the hotel is very professional . The hotel design is very cozy, modern and also they have a spa wellness center which is very beautiful , very relaxed. Also the hotel has a garden flowers.

I was in Tirana for business, so I was looking for a place with great location and comfort. I found it at Golden City Hotel. Not only that, great rooms, food and quiet place to work on my laptop. Staff was willing to help for your requests anytime. I am surely coming back in my next time in Tirana.

Great experience, I spent 3 nights with my family, kids loved it (for me and my wife is very important). Very comfortable rooms, with clean sheets and soft bed. Breakfast was an abundant buffet with fresh food and drinks. Location is at the city center, 3-4 min walk. We'll be back for sure.

What a lovely hotel tucked away in a back street. Only 10 minutes walk from the square. Definitely get the bus to Bunk’Art 1 and the cable car up the mountain bus no 11 takes about 20 minutes and costs around 40p each way. Great Italian next door to the hotel and not expensive at all
