Cons:

Pondría transporte del hotel para traslados internos. Realmente me parecio peligroso ir y venir en mi auto.

Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter und das gute, vegetarische und frische Abendessen und das Ökologische Konzept, die Yogastunde

Leider haben wir uns in unserem Häuschen gar nicht wohlgefühlt! Wir haben gleich um einen Wechsel gebeten, das ging leider nicht.
Es war alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen, nicht wirklich sauber (nach Hinweis auch nicht), Schimmel an den Wänden, dunkel, teilweise eklig … die Außenschiebetüren gingen nicht zu schließen (auch hier haben wir nachgefragt, hat nichts gebracht), es standen 2 alte Plastikstühle vor der Tür, daneben türmten sich die Ameisenhügel am Haus, der Pool war unbenutzbar (eine kleine Wanne mit milchigem Wasser), und ich könnte noch viel mehr aufschreiben….wir waren ehrlicherweise froh, dass wir nur 2 Nächte gebucht hatten!

Sehr außergewöhnliche Unterkunft im Dschungel! :) mit Spabereich und das Personal ist seeeehr freundlich und beantwortet alle Fragen!
Man braucht ein gutes Auto, da es seeehr steil dort ist!
Die Kakaotour mit Aurelio ist auch sehr empfehlenswert, er macht es mit großer Leidenschaft :)

Une adresse Coup de cœur
Pros:

Magnifique et grande structure écologique très bien placée qui offre une vue incroyable sur le lac et le volcan Arenal. Très bien située pour visiter la région et possibilité de balades dans le domaine de l'hébergement.
Nous avons pu profiter du sauna et jacuzzi sans supplément ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié.
Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par Fabien et toute l'équipe est très sympathique et aux petits soins pour les clients.
Nous nous sommes régalés au restaurant qui propose de délicieux repas végétariens à prix doux. Les petits déjeuners sont un peu plus chers mais également délicieux et copieux.
Un sans fautes

Cons:

Les tentes sont un peu vieillissantes, on aurait aimer pouvoir les fermer totalement surtout en cas de moustiques. On a eu de la chance, nous n'en avons pas eu. Ça n'a pas du tout perturbé notre séjour mais voir ça comme un point d'amélioration.

C'est plutôt isolé avec une belle vue.
Les tentes sont originales.
Le jacuzzi est agréable
J'ai du partir (raisons personnelles) et ne faire qu'une seule nuit : le petit déjeuner (bon) m'a quand même été offert !

Cons:

L'espace de toilettes partagé, le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de serrure ou de portes, le petit déjeuner payant, le prix pour la prestation proposée.
La tente était bruyante, pas d'espace de rangement ni de quoi accrocher ses affaires. Une seule prise de courant

If you’re looking for a place where the jungle whispers, the volcano broods dramatically in the background, and your stress quietly packs its bags — Essence Arenal is it. 🌿🌋

The views of Arenal are unreal (yes, that postcard volcano), the vibe is peaceful without being pretentious, and the whole place feels like a little eco-paradise you accidentally stumbled upon and now don’t want to leave. Bonus points for the yoga deck — main-character energy unlocked.

Huge shout-out to Jesús, who basically deserves his own five stars. Warm, attentive, and somehow always one step ahead of what you need — he’s the kind of staff member who turns a great stay into a memorable one.

Would 100% come back. Might “accidentally” miss my flight next time.

La nature , le calme

Cons:

Chambre très mal isolée, ont entend absolument tout ce que disent les voisins, c'est vraiment gênant et désagréable.
L'eau de la douche était souvent tiède.
Les chambres sont beaucoup trop isolée et très difficile d'accès.
