Lovely and romantic

couldnt of been morw helpfull.
This hotel is very different to all the others we stayed in on this trip but different in a good way. The servixe from Ole was first class and made us very welcome right down to helping us plan our route back to Oslo on the last day.

Not worth the money, way too expensive for what they offer. For folks who are on the road and need to have a bit of food with them, be aware of no fridge in the room. Breakfast very good, but supper options are very limited and over priced. At least in our room bathroom was clean but there was a funky smell coming out of it. Would not stay there again.

Hotel di categoria superiore per camere, cura nei particolari, pulizia. Isolato, impone la cena in struttura, sempre molto curata ma forse un po’ eccessiva sul prezzo. Da provare per la particolarità e per la passione dei proprietari.

The excellent service from all staff. Based on our interests Ole the owner worked out itineraries for us which we found very helpful.

The food was delicious and we recommend the Viking experience dinner. This was held in their Viking Hall.

The room, including the bed was comfortable with a large relaxing common lounge area just outside our room.

The views were mountainous with mist, with a verandah encircling the building. Blåtind was a few kms out of town and very peaceful.
Best stay so far on our Norway holiday!

A stunning experience, location and stay. The hotel is a little out of the. (No bad thing!) but well worth it. The staff were superb, the room was superb and the dinner fantastic.
A wonderful bed, well appointed room with a view to die for.

Vi fandt en perle af et hotel. Kørte langt for at finde stedet. Indenfor er der smukt dekoreret og fineste service. Komfort på hotellet er i top. Kan kun slappe af her.

We lived this property…we had one night book but ended up stay one extra night. We wished we had few more days to stay at this property. The best hotel we stayed at during our Norway trip. If we ever get a chance to go back we will definitely stay at this property.

The property was well kept, quiet and comfortable. There was a daily dinner and that was the Only option, not everyone wants to social after a whole day of being outside, they should have a regular functional restaurant to be able to get food, lunch and dinner. The breakfast was good! Definitely room to improve.

This was the perfect getaway and recharge in the middle of our two week honeymoon trip. It was very calm and relaxing. They have lovely areas outside, downstairs, and upstairs to relax or play games. They have outdoor fire pits and hot tubs. They allowed us to join the Viking dinner experience at the last minute (we didn’t see the email invite the day before). We highly recommend joining for the Viking dinner experience and we highly recommend staying here. The food and drinks were amazing. We will be back for our anniversary one year! The staff were so kind and helpful and gave us great recommendations for our trip.

Ihana hotelli! Juuri sopiva matkalla Geirangeriin. Ruokaa kannattaa ottaa mukaan varalta, jos ravintolaan ei pääse. Hienot maisemat. Upea, siisti ja uusi huone jonka saimme. Suosittelen!

The setting, while lovely, is not nearly as lovely as the photos, which were shot to avoid the gravel, trucks etc. Still - this is a gorgeous part of gorgeous Norway. The people at check in and check out were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful but just sad somehow. The food bland. Our room and shower were fine.

Fint hotel med fantastisk hyggelig personale. Nydelig beliggenhet i rolige, vakre ongivelser. Maten er kortreist og lagd med kjærlighet. Vi fikk en personlig og god velkomst- kan virkelig anbefale dette stedet!

A beautiful place with the kindest host, Ole Vikenes. We were treated like kings and had a wonderful stay. You should at least take a couple of days to enjoy this hotel and it's surroundings. Also don't miss out on the diner at the Viking House.
