Aura Hotel - Adults Only

A wellness részlegen lehetett volna melegebb a víz, a párom vacsorája sajnos nem volt az igazi, nem vagyunk kényesek, de a rizottó szó szerint kemény volt, nem volt életem legjobb élménye.

O Hotel é confortável, boa qualidade do café da manhã e jantar, mas considero injusto um horário de checking a partir das 15:00 horas e checkout às 10:00 da manhã. Como ficamos apenas uma noite considero um valor de diária muito alto por apenas 19 horas de utilização.

Beautiful pool and great location by the lake. Also, food was very nice quality. The staff were helpful.
Wish we could have stayed longer!

otel Aura is conveniently located within walking distance of Lake Balaton, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
The dinner options were excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Aura and would happily return.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my mom. Here is my experience:

Property and Location: The property seems relatively new, well maintained and clean. Location is great, walkable and safe. There are options for food, shopping and activities. Also, there are two shores of a lake (Balaton) close by for swimming and other activities.

Food: We had half board (breakfast and dinner) included with our stay. For the most part, the food was tasty and well presented except of the catfish stew ("harcsa paprikas turos csuszaval"), which was completely tastless. and the noodles were dry. A Hungarian specialty like this should be always outstanding. Considering the hotel' rates, filtered tap water should be free of charge. Instead, we paid around 7 dollars for the plain water. We found this outrages. We loved the breakfast choices like egg options, chia pudding and fruits. Dinner started at 6:30pm which was a little late for us (usually it starts from 6 pm)

Room and Service: This needs improvement BIG TIME. This is the first hotel I ever stayed where staff does not make the beds. We had to ask to vacuum and empty the trash. Only one bathing towel and one pool towel per person was provided. There were no small towels for face and hands. There was no hand lotion, shampoo and conditioner. These are standards for even a 2/3 star hotel elsewhere. Some towels had holes in them. Cleaning staff seemed careless.

I hope management will read this and make some improvement.

Beliggenheden er rigtig fin.
Værelse til 3 personer var fin størrelse, sovesofa til teenageren fungerede fint.
Personalet var venlige, men mange talte ikke ret godt engelsk.

Det “negative”.
Vi aftalte tidlig check in mod betaling, men værelset var ikke klar, da vi ankom.
Vi måtte bede om en ekstra stol til terrassen, så vi alle tre kunne sidde ude.
Der er ingen tørrestativ, så vådt badetøj, morgenkåber og håndklæder måtte vi hænge på stole.
Der var en lille håndklædetørrer, men der var langt fra plads til det hele.
Aircondition var forudindstillet til 23 grader og kunne ikke ændres.
Rengøring sprang vores værelse over to gange.
Udvalget i restauranten var meget sparsomt og til morgenmaden fik man et menukort, hvor man så måtte vælge 1 ret med æg + 1 “sød” ret.

Das Hotel ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Besonders gut ist das Essen im Restaurant.
Es hat eine gute Lage zu dem nahegelegenen Strandbad am Balaton.
Spabereich sehr sauber.

Spa trés agréable et tres propre.
Nourriture du soir et petit dejeuner tres bon.

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms and common areas were very clean and tastefully decorated. The staff was very kind. There was a wide selection to choose from at dinner and breakfast. The food was super delicious and premium quality. Their morning coffee brand and the coffee machine could use some improvement. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

Apparently it's something they do in Hungary after September 21st. Turn off the A/C, unplug all the exercise equipment, shut down the spa unless requested. I appreciate their eco-consciousness. Just made me feel not so appreciated. That being said, this hotel is beautiful and modern with a great location near the lake. We were stunned that the reasonable price included not just a great buffet breakfast but an equally great dinner! The staff were very nice as well, just not able to give us a room with working AC. (This was the second hotel in Hungary to have this problem - the other hotel flatly told us "summer is over, we turned the A/C off.") Has nothing to do with the outside temperature.

Das Hotel war gut. Essen war sehr gut und das Personal konnte nur englisch oder ungarisch. Viele ältere Menschen aus Deutschland und Österreich hatten es schwer bei der Essensauswahl oder beim Bestellen. Der Pool ist sehr gut, aber keine Sonnenschirme und die Liegen stehen in der prallen Sonne,(ausser ein paar wenige).

Loved the dinners and the pool area, really nice room as well. 3 of us stayed in one of them and it was so big, very comfortable even for 3. We’ll be back next summer for sure

Check in hat gut geklappt. Zimmer war schön, vorallem das Bett/Matratze und Kopfkissen waren sehr bequem.
Am 1. Tag waren 2 Flaschen Wasser im Kühlschrank im Zimmer, die restlichen Tage wurde das Wasser leider nicht mehr aufgefüllt.
Zimmerreinigung: leider kein Duschvorleger vorhanden, Handtücher vorhanden, wurden aber keinen Tag ordentlich gelegt ( waren immer so, wie wir sie zum Trocknen gehängt hatten) - wurde in anderen Hotels, aber schon gemacht.
Die lauwarmen und frischen Brote bzw. Weckerln beim Frühstücksbuffet waren ausgezeichnet, das rest. Frühstücksbuffet war auch sehr gut und ausreichend.
Vorspeisen- und Nachspeisenbuffet beim Abendessen könnte einfallsreicher und abwechslungsreicher sein, dafür war die Hauptspeise a la carte jedesmal sehr gut.
Das tägliche frische Obst hat gut geschmeckt.

Radwege rund um den Balaton sind sehr gut ausgeschildert.
Das Strandbad /Balaton ist nahe dem Hotel und zu Fuß schnell erreichbar.

Alles in allem war es ein schöner Kurzurlaub, kleine Verbesserungen bzgl. Zimmerservice sind möglich.

Very nice hotel for a romantic getaway. The pool and spa facilities are excellent. Balatonfüred is only a few minutes walk along the lakeside path, where the ferry is located to explore other towns around Lake Balaton.

Beautiful resort, outside and inside pools, excellent dinner with options.

Perfect place around Balaton. Would recommend and would like to come back.

It was good for my needs. I needed a place to stay in the area to be with friends nearby. I only slept there although the pools looked lovely.
