Hilton Norfolk The Main

I have booed king room, but when I arrived, the receptionist changed room for regular 2 queen bed room without letting me know, when I checked the room which was on 21st floor it was extremely poor quality handles on drawers broken, bathroom tiles faded and looked very old, shower at least 25 years old. I went back and asked why my room looked like this and she said king room was no more available and the room they gave me was upgrade, because it was on top floor. Waste of money.

When I arrived at the hotel, everyone was friendly and helpful with the check in process. The room was clean and stocked with plenty of towels and other amenities, the robe and slippers were especially a nice touch! My mother and I enjoyed the breakfast at the lounge on the 21st floor and the pool was also clean and warm. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and hope to stay again!

My go to hotel when in Norfolk. Friendly staff, valet was knowledgeable and quick. The maids were very nice and did a great job cleaning the room. The hotel has 3 fantastic restaurants……the rooftop bar is a must go place in the evenings!!

We booked a room on the top (21st) floor and had a beautiful view of the harbor. The room was perfect. Very modern, quiet, and comfortable. The room included access to a lounge, only available to those staying on the 21st floor, and it was a great amenity. The staff are very friendly and professional. We took advantage of the valet service for our vehicle, and it was well worth it. The location was perfect for our visit to Nautica, the battleship Wisconsin and the boat tour of the Norfolk Navy Yard. Our only disappointment was having dinner at Grain restaurant in the hotel (there are three restaurants). The food was OK, the service was good, but the restaurant was LOUD! On top of that, they had live entertainment so it was extra loud. Not to say it was a bad thing, it was just us. We like to have dinner in a quiet atmosphere. Nonetheless, the restaurant experience did not detract from the overall 5 star rating of the hotel.

I would like tolcommend Mr Wyatt for the exceptional customer service he provided while assisting me with checking in at the Hilton Norfolk Main. I encountered several issues with my old account connecting to my new account, and Mr Wyatt handled everything with remarkable patience, professionalism, and kindness.
He took the time to stay on the phone with me and worked through every detail until everything was fully resolved and I was completely taken care of making sure I was made whole and complete, with nothing lacking. His excellent people skills, and genuine willingness to help were exactly what I needed during a very frustrating situation.
Mr Wyatt went above and beyond, and his outstanding customer service deserves to be recognized. Hilton is blessed to have someone of his professional representing the brand.

The corner room view was fantastic! The pool was perfect - perfect warmed temperature, very pretty pool, beautiful view, and very clean.

Hotel is located in a downtown area surrounded with late night life activities and a view of the city or the river. If you like sleep, don’t get a river view room on a lower floor as you will hear the people on the street yelling and honking their horns late at night as waterside district and their parking garage is on this side of the building. From check in, staff was helpful with check-in and getting bags to the room. The on-site restaurants were great and staff were awesome. The restaurant Grain’s food offerings were not as delicious as the restaurant Saltine. Highly, highly recommended the crafted cocktails from Saltine. Our bartender Carter was awesome and attentive and made perfect cocktails. I have stayed at other hilton hotels and I will say the bed sheets at this one were not very soft at all and felt more like a sheet of paper. Parking garage is on-site for hotel.
