Hotel Lale Saray

I was lost in Uçhisar (female solo traveller) and was pointed toward this hotel, where the owner gave me orange juice, cake, access to the bathrooms and gave me a printout of where to go and how to get there. He was very professional and friendly, especially given I wasn’t even a customer of the establishment! Grateful for the help I received and would definitely recommend this hotel - the facilities were great and I got a peek into one of the rooms, just beautiful!

All the staff gave us a friendly, warm welcome. The hotel is perfectly located for balloon views, walking to the castle, hiking to pidgeon valley and the fairy chimneys. The rooms were great, we stayed in cave room for the experience. The girls stayed in a standard room, both clean with god showers. The breakfast was good and plentiful, available between 08.30 and 10.30. There is transfer available from the airport which is an hour away, and worked for us. There are good places to eat nearby, overall a great stay.

Balcony room was clean and spacious, with a perfect view of the morning balloon launching. Breakfast was traditional Turkish with veggies, dippings, breads, and made to order eggs, served beautifully by a very efficient staff. Didn’t start until 8:30, but that worked for us.
Only negative was the observation that the owner was not around, and as long as he received his monthly revenue, no need to spend anything on maintenance or give staff authority to do so. Pool cushions were stained and torn, chair cushions were junk, flowers were uncared for, closet doors needed fixing, shower bracket broken, etc, etc.
Would consider returning, but only after they got their docks in order.

This place is truly wonderful! The location is more than amazing, the terrace is a perfect viewpoint for the balloons. The staff is really friendly, rooms are clean and breakfast is delicious. Only the pool is a tiny bit cold... I had an amazing stay and would recommend everyone who visits Cappadocia to stay here.

The location was great , service was good but room was not as expected . It was big room but bathroom was dirty and shower door was leaking water out so it stayed wet . There were bulbs missing in the room which made it dark in the room ,the staff was helpful .

Beautiful spot and especially wonderful owners! They were very sweet and accommodating, the hotel is also very clean.

Great location, wonderful building, but could be managed in a better way. Breakfast starts at 08.30h to 09.30h. Little flexible due to activities.
Nice pool. Own parking. One room had no clean sheets. Bathroom needs some renovation.
What a pity, it has great opportunities.

Sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Man hat uns mit jedem Anliegen (PCR-Test, Shuttle Service, Tagestouren, Bügeleisen,...) helfen können. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig und der Pool ist sauber und einladend. Hatten wunderschöne drei Tage und kommen gerne wieder :)

Kaan is a great host and the hotel is amazing!

Big jacuzzi, but above most off all: a breathtaking view.
Set your alarm at sunset and watch dozens of hot air balloons fly over.
Affordable transport to the airport

From our room balcony we watched sunrise and balloons from the incredible valley below. Perfect location next to more expensive Museum Hotel but with same view. Great breakfast. Lovely open pool. Staff lovely, warm and welcoming.

Amazing view from one of the highest points in the region. Great breakfast. Warm stuff. The rooms are clean and designed in a traditional way.

About the town: Uchisar is not as elegant and clean as Goreme but has the advantage of the highest view points in the region wich makes it perfect for watching the baloons at sunrise.

Look it’s not like a stunning 5 star hotel type but it is a cozy cave hotel that has everything you need. The service feels like home they are helpful with bags, the receptionist man is nice and we checked out early but had time to kill as well so as we were there from 3 to 4pm repacking in their restaurant, they gave us cake and orange juice complimentary. So sweet of them and their hospitality is unparalleled. I think the views are amazing as well , but we couldn’t see it as we went to an early hot air balloon ride. This hotel will also have a special place in my heart as my boyfriend proposed to me on the patio :)

Hotel is just amazing. Lovely cave room with swimming pool view. Small but very clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The rain outside and inside is delicious Turkish cousin served just in front of the chimney. Unfortunately, we could experience a balloon trip because of the weather but I think it's a sign to visit Cappadocia again and definitely will stay in this lovely hotel.

Such a sweet little hotel! I absolutely loved my stay. The reception guys are very attentive and even though their English is limited they went above and beyond to make sure they could help me with any request. It’s really a gem and I would stay here again!

We arrived late at night at this hotel and were welcomed by one person who took care of checking us in and delivering our luggage to the room. The same person was there for breakfast together with the other staff that made sure that our breakfast was done well. Our room was cozy and just a short skip out of our room was a little viewing deck where we watched the balloons floating by along the valley during sunrise. Had a great stay at this hotel.

My parents and I stayed five nights at this hotel and we enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is well located, a few minutes away from all touristic sites and restaurants. Food, prepared by local women and sometimes by the French owner herself, is delicious. Breakfast and dinner are served on the terrace, where you can enjoy beautiful views on Cappadocian mountains. The owners and the rest of the staff are very caring and always here to help you, should you need anything. Highly recommended!

I was there with a friend and per his suggestion we stayed at this hotel. The staff was so professional and tentatively answer all of our questions.
The breakfast was simple but good. The view from the balcony is just astonishing. We took a lazy walk from the hotel to Göreme through the Pigeon Valley.
We were there in November and it takes time to heat the room though, I have to wait a REALLY long time to take a shower.
One thing that bothered me was the group of people in the dinner room. I guess they were the owners (that is what I got from their conversation) and they were basically in an argument mood and the way they talked to each other really bothered me as a tourist who were staying at their hotel.
In my room the wifi was weak.
