Great location - pricey for the level of comfort

It was a great location.

Cons:

It was very expensive for the service. A tea cost about seven dollars. The window in the room was dirty in the sun. The bathroom was full of warnings not to take the toiletries. You have to pay extra for a sun lounger. Just a bit off for the cost.

Moderate modern accommodation
Pros:

We stayed at the Gansevoort for one night during our stay in New York City. The room was overpriced for generic moderate accommodation. The location is good for walking to Greenwich Village, West Village and Highline. Staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooftop bar is fun if you like a hip trendy scene. If you’re looking for a modern hotel, this might be a good fit, otherwise New York City offers many more high-end the hotels that feel more luxurious.

Great location, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Pros:

The meatpacking district is quieter and less crowded than we expected so this was great hotel if you want to be near the Whitney Museum, High Line, and lots of restaurants. Don't miss the rooftop bar.

Je voulais 2 lits et j'avais un lit et un canapé lit et gros point négatif : la piscine n'était pas accessible alors que j'ai pris cet hôtel pour avoir accès à la piscine en rooftop. Donc je ne suis pas très contente de mon choix car le contrat n'est pas rempli de leur part. C'était pour l'anniversaire de mon fils. Dommage
