Good value for money but very basic, pretty much just a room, bar closes very early.
Pros:

Nice spacious room, very peaceful, warm and comfortable bed. Very helpful staff.

Cons:

The bar closes at 6:30pm and with nothing local means you have to travel somewhere. No real amenities outside of a comfortable room. There was a lot of dust and hair under the bed. Also bath with shower fitting now a proper shower which was a bit disappointing

Pros:

Lovely clean and cosy room. Great breakfast choices. Very pleasant and helpful staff and gorgeous surroundings. Well worth a visit.

Our stay lasted no more than 10mins as the room was dirty . We left to find another hotel

Cons:

The room was dirty and had live bugs in the bath. The kettle had not been cleaned and had old water in from previous visitors? cups were stained , bedding had tears in the sheet. As a non smoking property there was a very strong smell of Marijuana .

Value for money, beautiful surroundings
Pros:

Dining toom/clubhouse. Staff were excellent without exception. Breakfast was superb. Dinner was good, a nice salad for diabetic would be helpful but staff did their best to accommodate.
Shabby chic hotel would describe it.

Cons:

Bathroom vould do with a deep clean, areas like skirting board, mastic round the bath.

Un très bon séjour d'étape dans notre voyage en famille.
Pros:

Le personnel était adorable, la chambre spacieuse et la baignoire très agréable. Le petit déjeuner était excellent !

Cons:

Les lits étaient très mous mais c'est le seul reproche que je puisse faire !

Great peaceful comforting venue.
Pros:

Lovely country location. They kindly upgraded us and the room was huge with a huge bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was so quiet. The breakfast was delicious with a good choice.

Pros:

Staff in the bar area and beautiful location.

Cons:

Heating didnt work on day 1 and power cut on day 2. Whilst free wifi it was sporadic.

Excellent, Very Comfortable relaxing stay - Recommended
Pros:

The hotel is very clean, the rooms being spotless and very well maintained. The decor and furnishings are warm, comfortable and relaxing. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was great, with his and hers basins, large bath and shower unit. All in a traditional country-cottage style decor. A/C in room.
We did not stay for breakfast but this was available at the clubhouse 2 mins walk away.
Parking was easy and location easy to find. Excellent communication from the start.
Would certainly stay again.

Cons:

We did not like the air-conditioning as it was pumping out warm air then blasts of cold air throughout the night. In hindsight we should have turned it off, but we were thinking of ventilation. It would have been too cold to keep a window open (February)
We were informed in the paperwork sent by Booking.com and hotel that reception closed at 7pm. This was incorrect as in winterr months the reception closes at 5-5.30 when it goes dark. This wasn't made clear. Not so much of a problem than an inconvenience trying to relay information to the other couple who were already on their way there and trying to talk to the hotel reception whilst driving. In the end we were sent late arrival instructions by text but had to stop and relay this to the other guests. However, we arrived okay and instructions were very clear. Thank you.

A very quiet overnight stay.
Pros:

-It was in a very quiet location.
-The room was spacious
-Ample parking
-Toiletries provided
-ability to regulate the air conditioning to hotter, cooler or off.
-comfortable bed

Cons:

-There was a bath but no stand alone shower. If I had read the information at booking it did state a bath or shower.
