Hotel is isolated and with only good if you actually want to play golf.
Pros:

Breakfast was the highlight .

Cons:

No evening facilities. Bar closed 7pm and no food.

RELAXED, CHILLED, COMFORTABLE
Pros:

The staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Such a tranquil hotel with lovely facilities. I don't actually play golf and so it's never really occurred to me to stay in a golf hotel before but I will seek them out now!
The bar and snacks were great, lots of choice on drinks and seating.

Cons:

My only issue was the tv aerial was a little glitchy, but I had my laptop so just steamed instead.

Fijne plek voor een tussenstop naar het zuidwesten
Pros:

Sedlescombe Golf Hotel is een fijn hotel voor wie in Engeland onderweg is naar het zuidwesten. Iets meer van een uur gelegen van Dover/Folkstone was het voor ons een mooie tussenstop, ook als je geen golfer bent. De familiekamer die wij hadden (17) was ruim en voldeed prima. De airco was met de warmte echt een bonus. Het hotel is iets gedateerd en de algemene ruimtes kunnen een likje verf gebruiken, maar voor een short stay is het meer dan prima. Het ontbijt ‘s ochtends - a la carte - is uitstekend en de bediening was erg aardig.

Cons:

Jammer dat het restaurant niet open was ‘s avonds, maar gelukkig was er een prima pub in de buurt.

Nice location in countryside. Well sized rooms. Staff were helpful. Late check-in worked fine.

Cons:

There was an over-powering smell of dampness in the room. We couldn't sleep the smell was so strong, even though we kept the windows open all night. Smell was not coming from the bathroom but the room itself. We would not have stayed if we had not arrived so late at night.
