Pros:

The only thing I can say that we liked was the location

Cons:

The hotel needs an upgrade rooms are OK in size but shabby and certainly not clean
Concert room has to many blind spots with all the pillars hence people queuing up outside for it opening so they can get a good seat
1 small lift just about fits 2 people
Not a good experience at all

Pros:

Not a lot; there was nothing to do during the day. The staff were chasing their tails. The kettle in my room was faulty. I had to sit and hold the switch. down to make a brew, and then the switched socket failed and had to be replaced. I was sitting on the bed watching TV. When a startled woman entered my room and hurriedly went back out.

Cons:

The reception is too small. Dining room meals are too early because it is used for evening entertainment. Bingo and Joe 90 are a fiddle. Joe 90 pays out on the last winning number on the full house on bingo. Only £20.00 was paid everywhere I have played. Joe 90 pays £90.00 per game. I noted the cash collected for the bingo and Joe 90 was taken away, and the member of staff came back and gave the caller winnings for all 3 games of bingo. and Joe 90. I recorded the first night's takings being over £400.00, only £100 fh £40.00 2 lines £20.00 1 line Joe 90: £20.00 There seemed to be a lot of cash missing.
This goes on in every hotel I have stayed at and even more money missing. with miserable payouts.

Cons:

On arrival, I asked to pay £40.00 for my 4 breakfasts. I was told to come back in the morning and pay. I returned the next morning at 08.00 am; no staff at reception. I returned about an hour later and waited 10 minutes, but still no staff turned up. I ate out for my 4-day stay. On leaving for my return home, I asked about a problem regarding my daughter's room. She did not come away with me due to taking poorly and was taken to the hospital from the doctors by ambulance. The guy on reception said I only booked one room I explained I contacted booking .com and they said they couldn't help me but to get intouch with the hoteland they would sort me out.I was informed by the hotel to contact Booking .com they would have to pay for mr to receive the same price I paid . Booking .com then took out the second payment from my bank account account. so I will requirea refund from Booking .com for this room the seabank did not receive te payment.

Pros:

Price, friendly helpfull staff, clean rooms. Comfortable beds,

Cons:

The lifts are tiny and only 2 people at a time or 1 person and luggage. On checking out day its a nightmare to get down to reception. For a hotel this size it was ridiculous. The whole hotel from what I could see would not be any good for someone in a wheelchair full time. I could see no ramps etc. We were on the 4th floor and there were steps after you got out of the lifit and it was narrow corridors and steps. Parts of the floor felt like they were going to give way.

Bad choice of hotel
Cons:

My first room was flooded due a leak from above and it hadn't been cleaned properly prior to us moving in ,they moved us to another room which was slightly better i asked about compensation for the inconvenience to a few of the management and it was ignored, the so called entertainment room doubles up as the dinning room you can't se the acts to many pillars most people leave after the bingo the singers are to loud there was a few complaints regarding this, and as a dinning room the carpet is filthy and needs renewed, when they used the entertainment hall upstairs it was always full and if you sit up near the bar there is a constant smell .the standard of this place has fallen we spoke to other residents who have been before and they said they won't come back.i booked this for my wife's birthday and it was s disaster, they have only refurbished the outside

Only problem I found was the mirror above dressing table far to high I had to stand up to put makeup on so maybe put two small mirrors lower instead of above plug socket
