The manager was awesome, very attentive and helpful. The property itself just needs some updating. For the price it fit our needs. The road off the 307 is gravel a rough, not the hotel’s issue but be aware.
Amazing place with amazing people!
We were looking for a remote quiet get away and it was perfect for that. Beautiful sunrises, great weather, calming waves. Just what we were looking for.
They warned us taxis to the location were expensive and they were right. Plan to spend $100 a day just to leave the facility. The facility is a bit dated and doesn’t look quite a nice as the website photos. Still it was perfect for us.

This is a very quiet place to stay. Safe and great for solo travellers looking for solitude or couples looking for a romantic getaway. Not many rooms or amenities. Private balconies and rooftop pool have beautiful views. Very comfortable bed. Restaurant was mid, continental breakfast is quite small and menu options are $$$. Overall, enjoyed the stay, the staff were kind and informative of the area.

The road that leads to the property is a dirt road, with too many potholes and speed bumps, some too high, my rental car kept rubbing the speed bumps, even if when I tried to go very slowly.
The first night the room plunge pool had dozens of dead mosquitoes, and the bed sheets had a blood stain. The water of all the pools in the property is cloudy and foamy. The beach was plagued with sea weed and rocks. The day bed and beach chairs need maintenance.
The property has potential, but it is understaffed, and dirty. The pools are gross, need deep cleaning.
The room has a coffee machine, but the hotel does not provide the coffee pods… ?
The service in general is pretty sloppy, and while the hotel owner tried to make things right by having staff changing the bed sheets and removing the mosquitoes from the pool, our first impression was that the place needs a more serious administration and better trained staff.
We are definitely not goi g back to O Tulum.

As someone with several dietary restrictions due to both faith and health, every request was met with kindness, care, and respect. From the moment I arrived, Noori and her team treated me like family.

The infrastructure in room was a bit disgusting, especially the wooden floor in the shower. I had a jacuzzi in room but it was boarded and locked…
They had no idea what the vip perks were. Even after 4 explanations, I got nothing. Not a meal discount, not a late check out. Absolutely nothing.
There was a dude there with his friend who fancied himself a great singer. So he would play songs loudly by the pool, and suddenly break out into LOUD song himself.
I took it with humor but then he had an argument with his friend at 3 am, right outside my thin glass door. After a half an hour I had to tell him to keep it down. Didn’t sleep until ten am that night/day.
I would have picked the 5-10 plastic bottles and buckets off the beach, and dug a small path through the sargasso, especially on the couple of days there was none in the water.
The moon and stars over sea were gorgeous.
