Pros:

Regular visitor to the Swan Revived, perfect location and represents good value for money

Cons:

Breakfast staff seem to let things down on this occasion-young lass clearly didn’t want to be there. Poached egg would probably bounced if I had dropped it.
Sadly breakfast service let the whole stay down

I overpaid because booking.com default a double room to 2 adults and the staff said they could do nothing about it?

Pros:

Received a wonderful welcome when checking in. Room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Plenty of teas and coffee provided. Plenty of parking. The room was very warm but they had supplied a fan which was very appreciated.
I was part of a wedding celebration and the staff were very attentive.
Food was exceptional.
Would highly recommend.

Cons:

No teaspoon in my room. Tried to watch TV but "no channels stored" message came up.
Could probably have done with a second person in the bar upstairs bar as service was slow.

A great affordable place to stay. I would definitely go back.
Pros:

Room was fine for what you need - clean, comfy and a great shower. The breakfast was brilliant, and they happily catered to one of our party that is coeliac (make sure you tell them the night before)

Cons:

The wall between rooms in the section we were in was a tad thin, so when the guy next to us was chatting to a friend until midnight I could make out quite a bit, so if you are a light sleeper this could affect you.
Though it didn't affect us on a weekday, and may have more relevance at a weekend, certain rooms are above the pub on the side, and noise travels, so if you like the window open ask for another room.

Altes Haus mit Charme. Mein Zimmer war sehr klein, aber funktional. Frühstück- und Restaurantangebot sehr gut. Oxford, Cambridge u. a. Orte innerhalb einer Stunde mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Die Ausstattungen im Badezimmer, wie Toilettenbürste und Kosmetikeimer könnten mal erneuert werden.

Pros:

Staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The walls are quite thin, making it difficult to sleep if, like in my case, the guests in the room next door decide to take a shower at 2am and leave the shower vent on for the rest of the night.
