A great pub/hotel. We stayed during our two day visit to Bletchley Park.

Pros:

Friendly staff and location was perfect

Cons:

The carperts were dusty,no fridge in the room,had to ask for shower gel from reception!And breakfast was very basic

Decent value accommodation in a convenient location. Recommended.
Pros:

The hotel is in Newport Pagnell High Street. There are frequent number 2 buses to and from Milton Keynes city centre and station (the bus stop is about 5 minutes walk away). The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable, The fan by my bed was a nice touch. The room rate was reasonable. Would stay there again.

Cons:

Nothing really. However I stayed on a Thursday night and there may be a noise issue on Fridays and Saturdays. I did not have the breakfast, which I thought a tad pricey. But all in all I would stay there again.

OK for a one night stay
Pros:

Location and nice bar

Cons:

Far too hot and one of the windows didn’t stay up. They did provide a fan and we took the duvet out of the cover but it was baking all night. They could have kept the room cooler by leaving the curtains closed during the day. We were only given one bath towel for two of us and didn’t discover it until getting out of the shower, so had to use a hand towel

Nice property nothing fancy just basic amenities in your room but comfortable and clean not much room ok for the weekend, no air con in the rooms and they were very very hot the small fans placed in there wee not adequate.

Cons:

We came out of breakfast and as it was very hot in the rooms we went and got some cool drinks and coffee from the shops across the road. We sat out side on the benches and tables, at around 10:30 they opened the bar area and we were told we couldn’t stay there and drink our drinks as they had opened the bar we had to buy from the bar which I thought was a bit rude as we were guests as to which I did explain this and the bar and cafe was open when we went to sit there after our breakfast, as paying customers of the hotel I thought this was bit out of order it wasn’t like we were stragglers off the street.

Never again
Pros:

Staff were nice, breakfast ok had poached egg and bacon, bacon overcooked. Allowed us an extra 30 mins in room to try and grab some sleep before onward journey

Cons:

Room was up endless stairs, staircase uneven, didnt feel safe carrying luggage. Room was hotter than it was outside,small window found a bird on windowsill so curtains stayed closed, window pulled to, fan in room just no impact. Sleep due to stifling heat poor. Bathroom new suite but toilet too close to door. Just poor in comparison to previous stay. Absolutely no view other than rooftops
