Clean friendly hotel with a good location.
Pros:

The hotel was ideally situated for our needs. Good location. The staff were very helpful and there was a good selection of food served at the restaurant.

Cons:

Parking was very limited. However there was lots of free parking within walking distance.

Last minute overnight stay.
Pros:

Room on fraont of property on second floor - lift level wih new annexe art bqack so few stairs to climb.
Room cleean and comfortable. Fiull size bath with shower. Good selection for breakfast and chef willing to cook variations of the menu. Excellent Pale Ale.

Cons:

Lift level wih new annexe at back so few stairs to climb - but adds to the ambience of the warrren like feel of the coridoors. Limited parking on site but free council car park immediately outside that available until after checkout. Cobbles in yard so suitcase wheels make a loud noise while pullinng along.

Very comfortable,but think we should have been informed that no lift to the 3rd floor before booking,not great for 3 peo
