Great hotel. Central for the falls. You don’t need to bother booking a tour we managed to use Ubers and just got our tickets at the park
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Great pool area and spa. with excellent restaurant for lunch.
Spacious room with everything in it you could want.
Unfettered breakfast and dinner with plenty of options was included in the price. Inexpensive excellent wine list.
Our only bugbear was we were near the air conditioning duct which vibrated constantly which wasn’t conducive for a great nights sleep
The service from everyone we came in contact with was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the falls.
I must say I was dissapointed with the service and other aspects of this hotel for the price and star rating.
Firstly, positives- It is nice in terms of the rooms and decor etc. The breakfast and dinner inclusions, while basic, are nice.
However I was very dissapointed with other aspects. The outdoor pool is not clean (with bugs, toilet paper and other dirt floating when I was there) and is quite cold (this would be ok in hot weather but it wasn't hot when we were there). We tried to use the "indoor pool and sauna" but the staff said this cost extra and were quite rude about it. In my view for the cost, this should come included as with other places we have been, especially given the situation of the outdoor pool. We also asked for help exchanging money but were brusquely told "no" even when the restaurant staff first said it was possible.
The final straw for me was when I tried to bring a hotel umbrella to town during the lashing rain and the hotel person grabbed it off me and said it can't be taken outside the hotel! Customer service!! I was lost for words to be honest for an "alleged five star hotel".
I would recommend staying in a simpler place in the town (this is also a bit out). Ultimately you just want to see the Falls so I wouldnt waste money here given my experience.
Fabulous location, great service in the hotel, nice and comfortable rooms, impeccably clean. Lovely relaxing place overall just 20
Min drive from the entrance to the National Park.
The hotel is lovely and tucked away in a forest. The amenities were quite nice and everything was clean. The breakfast was delicious with many options, as was the dinner buffet. The only complaint was very loud and rowdy children running and squealing down the hallways at bedtime but that isn’t the hotel’s issue, it’s the parents of the children. We would recommend the hotel!
The staff was friendly and helpful. The Hotel was clean and comfortable.
Great place and wonderful people.
Great place , thanks to Maxi excellent bartender
It’s out of town but has everything needed. The complimentary water on the first day was appreciated, but it wasn’t repeated on subsequent days which is good to know and a slight let down.
The diner was included, as was breakfast. The dinner was a good surprise. The food was excellent and there was a wide array of choices.
There is a pool and gym and spa.
The rooms were clean and large, as was the hotel.
Despite its location, we were picked up for tours of both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides to the waterfalls easily enough.
It’s a good place to stay.
O hotel me surpreendeu.
Very nice facility and people and if you have no allergies the food was good as well.
Great staff very accommodating
food and the service are excellent, dinner buffet, and the breakfast are included
I gave this an average review because of its 5 star rating which rather over-sells the establishment. Everything was ok. Good sized rooms with comfortable beds where everything worked. Also good WiFi throughout. Bedroom AC was too noisey so we turned it off the second night. Great swimming pool but needs new tiling. Breakfast just about acceptable but get a taxi and eat dinner in town. One bottle of water each for the whole duration of your stay is no more than 2 star.
Our travel agent booked this hotel for our trip to Iguana Falls and I think it must've been quite the spot back in the day!!! Still very attractive and all was in good working order for our stay (hot water, good electricity, etc.) but it's starting to show its age. Breakfast buffet was good and pretty comprehensive, but we are not big foodies, so scrambled eggs, yogurt and juice were pretty much all we needed.
Staff was extraordinary and very helpful with restaurant recommendations in town (La Rueda was SOOO good!) Would have liked coffee available in the room and more convenient electrical outlets to the beds. I would absolutely stay here again.
We had the most wonderful stay at this resort. Everything was amazing, the staff, the accommodations, the location, and the pool.
This hotel was spacious internally and externally. Our room was large but with the dimmest lighting we have ever come across. Breakfast was adequate without being great. Dinner buffet and al la carte had good options. We stayed as part of a tour. The hotel was outside of the nearby city which was only accessible by taxi. The pool area was very lovely.
Great location and service
Very helpful and caring staff.
The check in was easy and the staff was always accommodating.
Don’t think we’ve ever stayed in such a soulless hotel. Extremely comfortable beds, clean, cool and spacious room and bathroom but but but …..
The dining room is an awful space, harsh lighting, laid out like a school dining hall and extremely poor food.
Generally the staff were unfriendly and obviously not trained properly.
Being in a resort we felt at the mercy of their pricing for basic items like water and coffee (please teach them how to make coffee).
Thank goodness the actual Iguazu falls are so astounding amazing it made up for it.
